Called dental clinic and the little girl answering today got an immediate attitude for confirming that I called the correct clinic I got distracted by my kid and had to calm them down.
Try getting some help for my nose and they said we can't do that here so they referral me to Flagstaff and I call Flagstaff to see what I need to do for my appointment and they said fort defiance cancel my appointment. They don't look out for their people just the money ??
Worst medical faculty ever you get LED rabbit hole to another rabbit hole nobody gives you an honest answer or opinion. I was told to go home two times nothing is wrong with you had to go to FMC to get better help and service and find out what was wrong with me after spending all time their and almost dying.. don't go there!!! if you have to go somewhere else
First,I want you the Readers to know the real facts of F.D.I.H.& S.M.H. there was an Emergency situation here.F.D.I.H.don't have the service's that the Patient needs,the Patient is sent out to other facilities. So,that requires Referrals.Without Referral from hospital F.D.I.H. Than the Patient is Reliable to pay the Big Bill!! So,in this situation the Patient had a Referrals. But! ,it's took 2 yrs for the F.D.I.H. and Sage Memorial Hosp.(They F.D.I.H
said Patient lived in area of boundaries of Sage Memorial Hosp.)They both threw the "bill" back and forth.For 2 yrs.!! That's where I.H.S. in both Facilities was suppose to pay the "DAMN" Bill!! THANKS to our Private Insurance they paid the whole bill.
TMC staff greet you the moment you walk into the facility, I see staff smiling and asking if I need help as I walk throughout the hospital. I give it five stars because Health Techs, Providers, and Pharmacy Techs have great customer service.
Nurses and Dr. In emergency room were very efficient and polite. I am grateful and thankful for all the hardwork they do. They are all concerning. I am thankful I came to get check for chest pain. Thank you very much Dr. Kopp and nurses.
The only downer was the response rate by nursing staff on the ward. They asked more questions as to why the patient needs assistance rather than going and speaking directly to the patient.
Idk why this place exists. All they do is put you on hold then tell you they can't help you. Yet fail to give out referrals so you cant get the help you need. I love my people but do better! Just a bunch of rude johns!
My mother has dementia and 1 year to live. I’ve tried to get FMLA documents filled out and they refuse to fill out the documents due to I don’t reside in the area (relocating in a few days), they don’t have a contract with the company I work for (no contract is needed, FMLA form is a standard US Department of Labor Form), I need to be in the area to make an appointment (relocating in a few days; can’t get an appointment), only 1 caregiver can get FMLA (my mom needs 24 hour care and my sister got her paperwork filled out for part time work; I would get the same), and no one calls back. I’ve asked for the policy on FMLA and no one will provide it. Asked my primary physician who works with a global healthcare organization and she can’t sign the FMLA since my mom is not her patient; physician never heard of such a policy. In this global society when employees can telework from anywhere, this company needs to come into the modern age. I’m relocating to provide care for my mom and can’t get the FMLA documents filled out; which they previously filled out. Horrible service and I will file a complaint with the Board of Directors.
I want to know who’s in charge of the doctors? I am in serious pain and they wouldn’t give me inflammation shot they were scared to?? Do I have to get checked up by a doctor!!?? And the person in charge of the pain shots!!!!!! Ridiculous now I’m leaving the hospital with my pain!!!! Because the doctors looks scared to give me a shot for my back!!! That I’ve been coming here over a year!!!! For!!!! Ridiculous!!!!
I wish I could give the emergency room and Operating room 10 starts.. they are the best treating my son so fast after he broke his arm. I was so afraid but once I got more information it make things easier knowing my son nurse and doctors nice and every understanding.. thank again FDIHB.
The worst place to receive medical care. Staff do not answer phones, return phone calls, have to do your own contract health related contacting. Pharmacy is a joke!! We were promised " state of the art" medical services. Never happened.
Evry time I visit it dont matter which office I go to they're always very rude everytime i call for info they're so rude an always giving me wrong information or say they dont know . .I wish there was another hospital to go instead of here I hate for my insurance to pay for these services. .or if the place could get employees who would love to work with helping the community
Took my 89 yr old grandfather there to get seen. Extremely friendly and helpful staff all around. Service was quick and thorough. Updates were given on my grandfathers health with every check. They set up follow up appointments. Not at all the usual experience we get at Chinle IHS. Staff are usually very rude and not all friendly or willing to help there. They always seem to be irritated with the patients.
This is the worst hospital you could ever go to I called to speak to Nursing supervisor her name is Vicky she hung up on me when I told her I didn’t like how they discharged my fiancé so don’t come here ever what you do this is the worst hospital I won’t give them star The security is a joke to Try to give me the runaround over the phone no no you works security you don’t work as a nurse or a doctor so your job is to transfer calls no to90 question people when they’re asking for a supervisor
It was very exceptional, if you're rude an disrespectful services there will be limited, due to your childish approach. I like it here at the Indian hospital
I give this place a very,very poor grade I never got the care I needed after waiting for 4 hours this place needs advance,real people with degrees to run this place I been to way better hospitals where you get seen and given result right away not wait days,weeks and months on end.its a joke

This is why I hate IHS supported hospitals. I went to Ft. Defiance, to hopefully schedule an ingrown toenail removal. I get to the podiatry clinic. They turned away an elderly woman, cause she was 5 minutes late to her appointment. Are you suppose to help out elderly first of all!? Anyways, I get up to the lady and ask if they still do ingrown removals? I didn't ask to have it done today, just a simple question. Very rudely, she answers you need a referral from a primary care physician, in order to make an appointment. I said, fine, I have one in Sacaton and he can have it her within the hour. Again very rudely says, we don't accept outside referrals, you have to be seen here, and here only. Okay, so what do I have to do to make an appointment? Go to the walk-in clinic, get seen and make an appointment afterwards with your PC physician and they'll be able to get your referral. So I asked, you want me to wait 3 months, to get a piece of paper signed so I can get an ingrown removed? Is that the process? Wait 4 months, to have a 10 minute procedure? Very rudely, it's been that way for a year now, I dont make the rules. I left. Turns out Gallup IHS is also this useless. That's why I don't get my care in Ft. Defiance. Rant over.
