Renting in Yakutat is a unique experience. Your choices are quite limited, the prices expectedly high and the fleet is eccentric. We ended up in an old Jeep Cherokee with a cracked windshield, over 200,000 miles on the odometer and a couple of other quirks. This is typical given Yakutat's remote location. It got us from point A to point B, including all the way out to Harlequin Lake, so that's what mattered.
