What clients say about Alaska Marine Highway Ferry in Skagway (AK)
The boat ride was fine but I was told by employees they had hot breakfast for sale so I didn't eat. I find out the only thing hot they have is oatmeal. Everything else I could've got from a gas station. Frozen egg sandwiches and loads of packaged sweets. If they had just told me this was the option I could have brought something.
Friendly staff. Very loooooooooooooooooooong wait for the ferry to load and unload vehicles. Expect a minimum of 2 hrs to wait to board your ferry. Grab food in case the ferry's kitchen isn't open after your long wait to board the ferry! Expensive and not as efficient as BC Ferry.
