What a great family to work with. We had a heck of a challenge with over turned cars and an obstacle course terrain to pull vehicles out of. Kris and his boys worked quickly, professionally and safely to remove the accumulated junk. It's a night and day difference now because of the effort they put in! Thank you! This beautiful monday morning didn't pan out as planned, 29 degrees cold wet slick icy road weather didn't want hubby to go to work.
He ended up in the deep ditch but Chris from Tonk-a-tow came thru for us, he was very polite, understanding and the price was very fair for our predicament.

I had them remove 2 scrap cars that were frozen to the ground. They pulled a limo out between a fence and a tree. The operator was surgical with every movement going to different hook points ensuring he didn’t hit the fence or tree. He is truly a master in his trade. He was reasonably priced, respectful, and was at the property before the schedule time. This will be my primary tow company moving forward!

Kris was very reliable and on time and overall provided excellent service while picking up and towing my broke down Yukon which had a front wheel come off. He was able to deliver it to the garage as well as got it unlocked since the keys were not available and he also helped get the vehicle into the mechanics garage. Would recommend Kris with “Toni-A Tonz” to anyone needing a tow in the Valley area.

Tonka towz did an amazing job hauling a chicken coop for us. They were very careful with the building and cared about their work.I definitely recommend them and thought they charged a very fair rate. I’m assuming it was father and son who were helping us and they worked very well together and were friendly towards my boys who wanted to watch a tow truck!
Chris and his son were awesome! I had a flat and discovered I didn't have the proper tools that I needed (I bought my car second-hand and didn't realize it was missing the tire-changing kit. My spare was mounted under the vehicle). He and his son came out lickity-split and took care of it. Not only that, but he explained to me how to fix the old tire, inspected all my other tires for damage, and is helping me get ahold of the kit that I need. Thanks again!
Tonk-A-Towz exceeded expectations. From getting to the recovering area quickly to going above and beyond for us. He not only helped us with our car but let my wife sit in the tow truck comfortably while helping me find a mechanic after hours all in all he was a great guy all around. Highly recommend him. 10/10
So thankful for Kris and his sidekick, for bringing my truck down from Glennallen to Palmer, so I could get it looked at right away!! They did an outstanding job of getting it here within hours of my phone call, and without half of the bugs and dirt that was on it, because it was raining all day!! On top of that, the man is a Veteran, and I want to Thank You for serving our country!! As one Vet to another, Hooah Brother!!!

Slid the truck in the stupidest fashion off the edge of the road, in the middle of nowhere. Called USAA for roadside assistance, and was told they would find me a tow truck and get back to me. I was starting to panic, calling around myself and was having difficulty even getting someone to answer the phone. It was dark and just cold enough to make it nerve-wracking as I wondered how long I would be there.
Then Chris from Tonk-A-Towz called me. My insurance already handled the bill, i just had to hang tight until he came for me, and he was already on his way.
They got to me in about an hour (great timing for this area), were very kind, and promptly plucked me from the ditch without hitting the power pole that I was practically abutting.
Great service from very nice folk! Hope I don't need them again, but if I do, they're the first ones I'm calling.

I was stranded at Carrs fuel island in Palmer last night so I called one of the big towing companies and all I got was a message machine.
So I googled and called Tonk-A and the gentleman picked up right away and said he was coming from wasilla and would be there asap.
Turned out it was a loose battery connection and I got my truck started.
So I called the fella back but he refused money from me and he turned around at 3 bears.
He was more than polite and he will definitely get my business the next time I need a tow!

Everyone else was emergency only, he was out in a timely manner super kind and made this genuinely the best of a bad situation. If I ever need a tow I would absolutely use him again!
