Great company to work with. While it wasn’t an emergency today it was still a same day “scheduled” tow. I called a few other places and they gave me estimates and they were significantly higher. I don’t remember the guys name but he was awesome. Even when I had some things come up and had to shift the original time he was super flexible and down to earth. I can tell you S&S has earned a customer for as long as I’m in the area… unless insurance is paying for it haha! Def recommend using them! #666Tow4lyfe

Really helped us out after our car rental company basically left us in the snow. Was stuck in the car for 10 hours and all the other companies were charging 3 to 5 times the amount
Rude, terrible customer service terrible attitude got loud with me over the phone... was asking to retrieve my house key was hung up on 4x after being questioned about my property. Asked months ago to set up to get car towed out of their yard was told “ that’s too much money out of pocket let insurance handle it”. Most terrible towing company I’ve ever encountered. No manners just ridiculous. If I could give -50 rating I would.

S&S towing got our totaled car out of the woods in -22. They were kind to us when other companies got mad at us for Agero leaving out information that was extremely important to them. They understood how the insurance worked and reassured us that they would get it done. I really can’t thank them enough, especially Thomas who was the man on the ground getting our vehicle out. He did an amazing job even brought out a skid steer to get it done. Hopefully we never have to use them again but if the situation arises we will choose S&S Towing every time.
They would not allow my husband to get his personal belongings out of the vehicle they impounded when it was stolen, he had just got up there in Alaska bought the truck from a coworker and hadn’t had time to get it registered when a drunk man stole it, they original owner is out of town taking care of his father who is ill, even asked if he could go to his local police station and have them verify everything and send you what you need. You have NO respect for people and their belongings

My car broke down near the weight station.. tried roadside assistance and progressive wasn't able to find anyone at around 6pm. I called around and S&S gave me the best quote. 20 min was all it took for Thomas and his partner to come and gave me a tow. If you need a tow I recommend S&S, service provided was exceptional. My daughter's car died on the side of the Rich. I called three tow companies, two of which didn't even answer. S & S answered and the driver (Thomas) called back within one minute. We left the car and headed home. Within a half hour, he'd picked up the car and dropped it at our house. The rate was very reasonable and he made an unpleasant event easier to manage. He was super helpful and easy to deal with.
After an incident where I found myself and my car stuck in deep snow at a unmaintained road, I knew that I needed to find someone who had the ability to get me out quickly. Tom and his team with S&S Towing did just that. They were confident, strategic, and efficient with getting me out and back to safety. We were faced with closed to sub-zero temperatures and falling, as well as nearing midnight hours. I highly recommend S&S Towing as they provided nothing but excellent service.
I was in a rush to pick up my daughter from school and made a turn to quick and spun out into a snow bank getting myself stuck. Very kind man on his day off pulled over and helped me out with his own vehicle, gave me some good advice for future reference if it happens again and didn’t make me feel bad for getting myself stuck. He said he owned S and S towing and I just wanted to give him a major shout out for helping this very scared mama out. First let me start and say, I've been here in Alaska for 3 years and everywhere in Fairbanks is out to take money from Soldiers and the civilians. Places are charging almost $300 to get a vehicle towed and then have the nerve to be rude about it.....literally the job you choose to do. But then I come across S&S and was literally desperate. Being dual military with 3 small kids, I needed 2 vehicles. One needed a tow from the dealer to Glacier Garage(also top notch!) And s&s had a truck to the dealer within an hr handling business. But wait there's more! The driver Thomas(needs a raise and praise) went the extra mile because he knew I couldn't get 3 kids ready to drive all the way there and it was -35 out; he coordinated everything on my behalf and handled everything. If ever I need a Vehicle towed again(I hope I wont) there will only be one place I'll ever call again. As far as the price. Literally half of everyone else and has way better customer service 10/10!
Amazing help from this company, Thomas was very helpful. He went out of his way to jump start our car after being stuck in the parking lot. Not only did he get our car started he gave us a lot of advice and his business card to let us know he will be taking over Sophie plazas towing. Thomas was very personable and nice. These guys are absolutely amazing. Called other companies before them, and all of them tried to overcharge me by hundreds of dollars because I'm on base. These guys saved the day. Gave me a fair price, and got me on my way home in no time. Super friendly service, quick and efficient. Would recoment them to anyone. Especially for on base people. Can't praise these guys enough.
I found myself in the ditch in town and (in his personal vehicle) this man pulled over and worked a solid 20 minutes, being honked at, to get me out while avoiding traffic. Truthfully he could have done it much quicker had traffic not been so crazy but with the help of a few other amazing helpers, he didn't abandon me there and he was kinder than most! I will never not call or recommend them now. My heart was so full from the sweetness of this man!

Tomas and the entire team at S&S towing have always been prompt, friendly, and overall amazing to work with! It's never great dealing with car issues and having to coordinate a tow but its 10 times easier when working with them. On top of that, when things are busy, they have always given me options and realistic timelines of when to expect a tow, help with impounds, or simply helping getting vehicles moved around the lot. It was raining and nothing I tried could get my car to start. I couldn’t leave it overnight because the lot was notorious for towing cars left overnight. S&S sent Thomas who towed it to Moose Creek. Still couldn’t get it to start at home so I was able to schedule a pickup for the next day to take it to the mechanic. Both trips were quick and to point. I would definitely use them again.
Shawn is a professional. He helped us after my son had driven his car into a snow bank on one of the last storms of the season. He worked with us to meet at a time convenient for us, and did a fantastic job recovering the vehicle in a timely manner without causing further damage. He even went beyond a tow to really help us out by taking the car that was too broke to drive, and would have been prohibitively expensive for us to repair, and offered a reasonable price to tow it to their shop and get it off our hands. Without him, we would have had a busted up, non-driving car in our driveway, and then would have had to pay to tow it away a second time...once we figured out how to get rid of it. I highly recommend and will definitely call them again!
Great Company! Their operators are very friendly and have great customer service. They are reliable and knowledgeable when doing vehicle recovery. They helped me out when my truck started sliding off the edge of my steep driveway. They were able to hook up my truck and winch/lift it back onto the driveway from the road without causing any damage. Rates are reasonable and I wasn’t waiting all day even with living outside of town. Veteran friendly company. Overall I highly recommend them if you get yourself stuck and need a wrecker/tow.
Phenomenal service and our driver Thomas, was professional, kind and went above and beyond what I expected. He is so great at his job that he was able to drop the car that no longer had front steering in the exact spot I needed. No pushing it into place needed. He could have dropped that car on a dime if I had asked. Thomas and S & S Towing will always be my first call for any towing needs!
