I have bought 3 really nice cars. Absolutely was worth my time. Sure is a nice place to go shopping. ?? the staff was very friendly, and always treated me like family. Very understandable, and definitely the right place if no car lot/dealership will give you a chance, I know "Riteway" have given me 3 nice, reliable, pendable, sport rides. I love this place. Bought a vehicle from them last week test drove 3/4 vehicles all but one had immediate issues I noticed the vehicle I bought two days later starter stalling and gave transmission issues they did offer to fix it but it would be in their shop for a few to several days which isn’t possible for me as I have a job and no other transportation long story short ended up needing a trans flush and drive fine afterwards no big deal right ? Two days after that power steering switch left me stranded fixed that and took the vehicle to a shop upon inspection the vehicle has so many issues the shop said it’s not worth repair you’ll spend more than the worth of the vehicle and the dealership won’t let me trade it they said I have no warranty is technically on me which I understand but a vehicle that I’m paying $8.000 for shouldn’t have all of these issues on the 4th day of me purchase ing it buyers just be aware and bring your mechanic in and do your deligence on a vehicle before you buy the car did have high mileage my biggest thing is I’ve spent more on repairs than my down payment and they want me to pay $8,000 for this vehicle I shouldn’t have any issues for that price tag

My friend got a car from them and the motor fell out of her car while she was driving to work. This is after they kept it for a week to fix an issue with her motor. Unreliable and rude. Don’t waste your money.
Honestly I didn’t even want to give it one star but to review you have to.
I’ve been a riteway customer since November of last year. The first car I got through them was a Nissan murano. The transmission went out 11 months later(if that). I got put into a Honda accord and no matter what was “fixed” on it it kept smoking so they put me into a rav4. I got the rav4 July of this year. I took it to my mechanic and they mentioned that the transmission was missing bolts and the motor mount was loose. I called the dealership, they picked it up and had it for a week and I was told it was “fixed”. Here we are a month and a half later and AS IM DRIVING TO WORK the motor drops from the car!!!!!! Then when I called on Tuesday I got told the transmission was bad and if I wanted anything fixed on it that I would be responsible for the repairs since this issue was “fixed” back in July. IF IT WAS FIXED MY MOTOR WOULD NOT HAVE JUST DROPPED!!!!!! When I told them I absolutely would not pay for the repairs I was met with “well these are used cars” I have had used cars my entire adult life and have NEVER had these issues!!!! Save your time. There are other dealerships that you can go to that do not do a credit check. Try pokey brimer or LR auto. Heed my warning.
This dealership practices price discrimination based and a person’s geographical location, the office manager was rude, hung up in my face, and threatened not to sell to any resident of Birmingham. So, Birmingham residents, we are banned, according to the office manager. The least professional dealership I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
People on the phone acted like it was an inconvenience for me to call them. It was probably for the best though because I would never give my money to a company that conducts business like this one

started smoking while being towed back to
the dealership 5 days after purchase?♂️&& The other car died within the first 12 hours of being handed the keys. the car refused to be towed because the transmission was stuck
in place a roolback had to be called. 10/10 do not recommend doing

Drove 3 hours for a part we already paid for, when we got there we were told they had to order it. Meanwhile 5 hours prior it was there. They knew we needed it today and didn’t bother to call us and say they were ordering it, they also knew we were 3 hours away and were planning on coming to get it.
Would not recommend to anyone. Bought a motor that supposedly had a “90 day warranty”. After having the engine installed in my truck I found out the motor was bad piston rings burnt up and the guys at riteway wouldn’t hold up their end of the deal and replace said motor.Now I’m out $2100 and have to restart. Please avoid making the same mistake I did and take your business/money elsewhere trust me.
Purchased a motor for my 2000 Honda Accord and it’s running great so far so good! I pd $650 but it was so worth it! I also needed a throttle body cable and none of the part stores had it. I called riteway and told them who I was. Tyler was so helpful! He took my name and number & called me back within an hour. He found me one for $107! Now I’m just waiting on it to come in. Thanks Tyler and Riteway! Also when I had my Yukon I needed a rim. The dealership was telling me $429 I got one from riteway for $70! I’ll always check w riteway! They always do me right and I’m a woman!!!
If you need a car go talk to Katie and explain your situation and she will put you in a reliable car. Any time I’m in a bind I can count on Riteway to work with me. I’m a single parent of 3 and Katie was always understanding of my hardship and gave me time to pay. They don’t repossess your vehicle as long as you are paying them something. I have had 3 cars from them and all of them got me from point A to B. I appreciate them for giving me a chance because I don’t have the best credit and I’m considered low income. This review is just me thanking them so much. Katie deserves a raise because she has been there for years since about 2018 when I brought my first car from them and has always helped me. Any used cars you buy is bound to have a couple of problems but if you need RELIABLE transportation this is the place to go.
Expensive parts and they think they're mostly too good to negotiate.
As far as my experience, I found a fender worth 75 dollars advertised through car parts app. I called and the doors were 300 plus a piece and they said the fender being 75 dollars was an error, and only an error, and that they would honor it if I came.
For multiple days into the weekend they said they would send pictures of the whole driver side for parts we wanted to drive the long distance for. Every sales person promised they would send pictures and never did, until the very last second before we left. A person named Mitchell managed to get something for us. One picture by somebody at the parts yard sending an absolutely terrible picture of driver side that barely shows anything to decipher from. And I could see that they only got a small part of the fender in view, and I could tell it didn't line up with the body properly!
This means that the Chip employee or whoever else who said that the 75 dollar part advertisement was an error, was lying. It obviously would have some damage and that was the reason it was priced at 75.
They also tried to charge my friend 400 bucks for an intake on an explorer and after proclaiming them a ripoff, he got the intake somewhere else for 60 bucks. Riteway "assumed" it rare when they thought it was the rare drive train when it wasn't.
They aren't straightforward, my friend and I were going to come for 700 dollars on a vehicle's parts and they were too good or simply hiding something, and did not give us just the least bit of pictures for confidence. They were probably hoping we would just drive all that way, and since we were there already, getting what little parts were ok.
This review is entirely their fault. Well over 90 percent of our reviews to other businesses are positive.
Even though 700 dollars was hefty for the 2 doors and bad fender compared to other salvage yards, chip I believe got snooty when I offered 600 in the heart of negotiating and he said "you're lucky it's 700" and swept me onto hold for another person. (This alone did not cause the bad review as I kept in touch with them for pictures for 3 or 4 more days)
Requesting videos for days, pictures for days, this is what I was sent the very day I was supposed to come and would not get me any more. This shows nothing to be seen on a picture and only shows part of the fender which obviously looks out of line!
I was in need of a car and came here to Riteway. Bruce was my car salesman and took care of me and showed me outstanding customer service. This guy is top notch, very professional and has helped me in situations more times with my car then he should have when dealing with repairs. Not only did he help me buy a car but he has helped me maintain that car. Best customer service in the game. It would be an easy 5 star with Bruce there but without him they get a one star.
I bought my Highlander from Bruce. He is awesome! He was more than willing to help me find what was just right for me and for the right price as well. The whole team was awesome! Everyone I came in contact with was so nice and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks Rite Way
Riteway has some nice cars,i was there because 1 of their people rearended my truck lastnight and told me he would fix it,so i was there to have them order a bumper and tow package for my nissan.new cars are junk,look at the damages in the photos
