Aside from the fact that they are local and I didn't have to drive 20 minutes away they had everything I needed and some things I forgot I needed until I saw them. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. They didn't hover over me however they were very knowledgeable about what items I was looking to get for the project I was working on.
Excellent. Knowledgeable staff available at all times to help you with any building issues. Free delivery is a plus. Prices can be higher for incidentals, but not what you'd pay in gas to get to a big box store. Has small town hours.
Very handy place for out in the country. Basically they have close to ANYTHING you may need without having to drive into town to the larger hardware stores. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone I came across while in there shopping, seemed to be able to find the store helpful as well. Everyone friendly .

It's just ok... It's great to have a place like Russell's around this small town but my reason for 3 stars is bc the customer service was awful. We had ordered some pvc and someone else we knew had ordered a trailer full of lumber. He had been waiting for atleast 45 minutes for someone to help him. Even though employees passed him on forklifts and in trucks, nobody stopped to ask him if he need anyth6.
Great place to go for basic building supplies. Not competitively priced with the Bonner home improvement stores, so be prepared to pay more. BUT the convenience and the helpful staff might be worth it.
As a tractor trailer driver, we are always searching for places to park for some quiet, undisturbed rest. I found this place by pure accident and decided to park here, in their side lot, for tonight. So far, it's been quite the blessing. I'm very grateful to have found this gem and hope the owners will allow parking here in the future. Thank you kindly folks, for the much needed quite rest. Truly appreciated.
Purchased six 4" PVC fittings and 80' Sch40 4" pipe. Got charged for 7 4" PVC fittings and promise of someone to load the pipe on my truck NEVER materialized. Furthermore, the pipe was stored in a very muddy area, that might help explain why store employees elected to let me do all the work.
This was my first visit to this store, also my last!
All employees to busy to help you unless your spending a lot of money, i asked for a $2 item and only got finger pointing in the direction to look for it. Want go back and couldn't find the part i was looking for.
Called ahead. Asked if they had 4x6 joist carriers. They said yes sir. I show up they had none in stock. Why tell someone you have something of you don't? Dumb.
