they had me sitting on the side of the road for 3 hrs and then on top of that the driver did not want to take me to my house 2 1/2 miles down the road when he was going by there to take my car to shop he was rude and very disrespectful and i would not recommend to anyone. he said i'm charging extra to drop you off, Never use them again

Stranded on vacation. The fuel pump went out on our van. Pro-Tech wrecker service picked it up at appointed time and took it to get fixed. Fast friendly service.
Pro-Tech Wrecker Service was there in less than 15 minutes and retrieved my keys immediately after!! In less than 25 minutes I was on the road again! The young man that came out was very professional AND Polite!!
The person I spoke to on the phone was great with scheduling my tow. The person who did my tow however, did not call when he was on the way, he did not put the vehicle in the correct driveway, and was definitely not good with communication. I had to call back to see if the tow was in progress or done as hours had went by since I last spoke to someone. Overall not a bad experience, but communication is key and it failed with this one.
I rarely post reviews, but I recently moved to town, and felt compelled to share an actual good experience when looking for a last minute tow.

Ryan was awesome! We were dropping off a vehicle w unresolved issues, and hoping to find and repair potential problems. Asside from towing, they are also mechanic/repair shop. That said, we'll be reaching to them first in future.
*Also worth noting, pricing was honest, fair and very reasonable compared to others. Being new to this town, I called several places and they were def best by far. Thx guys, again!

I was stranded in Moulton, AL. Never been there b4. I had to leave my car 1/2 way up the drive of the Cowboys there. Someone came and got my Grandson and myself. The next morning I was contacted by the tow truck driver. He was sweet, kind but very professional! An awesome young man. Did everything he said he'd do and dropped my car right in my driveway. The same night my car broke down, my husband was coming to get me and my truck blew the radiator. This nice GENTLEMAN that brought my car home, also went and brought my truck home as well!!! I would recommend them to everyone! Hopefully, I won't need their service again...lol...but if I do, I won't hesitate to call. Thank U ever so much for your help.

Yesterday, my brother in law got a flat on his motorcycle on hwy 17 and county road 78 just south of Tuscumbia. We were only 8.2 miles from natchez trace hd. He called his insurance company which then dispatched Pro-Tech Wrecker service out of Decatur. Brother in law got a message from Pro-tech staying they are enroute and be there in 60 minutes. We sat on the side of the highway for three hours before a passer by stopped to check on us. That person went home, got a trailer, came back, and loaded the bike up and took the bike to Harley Davidson. Now this is not the first review on here stating basically the same thing. They as a tow truck company should now how dangerous it is being on the side on these roads broke down. If you do not have to do business with this company, don't!! They will leave you stranded and never communicate anything to you.

Fast courteous and professional. We were broken down in our RV and they came to our rescue. We broke down in a service station and we're blocking the gas pumps we only needed to be towed a short distance so that I could fix it.

Needed roadside service and this company was chosen through Cadillac Roadside Service . Original quote was 60 min wait. They didn’t show within the timeframe . I called and they gave an additional 45 min estimated wait time . They didn’t show within the 45 mins . I called and they quoted another 15-20 mins . After waiting another 45 mins, I called and they were still 15-20 mins away but were en route . Cancelled the service call & called Randy’s Towing .
My resent visit to Pro-Tech was very pleasant. I explained to the mechanic about the issue I was having cranking my truck and it not starting properly. They checked my battery and they found out my cranking amps were low beyond normal to keep my truck running. Thankfully my DieHard Gold battery was still under the 3 year warranty. Pro-Tech did not hesitate to exchange my battery and put me back on the road within an hour. Thanks guys for your dedication to serv your customers such as myself with excellence!
Had a tire blow out on highway 20. He was off work & because his work guys were farther away he came himself & changed my tire. Very nice! Took about 5 min! Would definitely recommend.
I had problems with a custom 1950 truck at a car show late Saturday night. The driver was very good. He took special care of my old truck and got it back home safe in the garage with no problems. Thank you for having a great driver.
I would absolutely never ever recommend this company they destroyed our truck and blew up the engine driving it without our permission. Now they will not accept any accountability. Please please don’t use them they have now been blacked out by our insurance. Now we are out a whole truck and tons of court cases to come to make them accountable . The tow truck driver never contracted me once or asked permison my 16 year old
Who’s was a minor was there . There lack of perfessionalism is rediculis.My husband is a retired disabled veteran . We are out already $500 with towing to dodge and diagnosing at dodge . Now a truck the only 4x4 truck we have to pull our trailers . They had no permission to drive my truck for 30 minutes destroying it . They where called for a wench out only

Great people that showed up in a timely manner to tow our car. They were very friendly and even waited with us for 10 minutes while my friend was driving over to pick us up. I am very pleased with them and would use them again if I need towing.
We didn't realize that when towing our RV that we drove on wet grass and got stuck as it was dark out. We didn't get in too deep but could not get traction. Several area wreckers said no through good Sam but we got these great guys immediately with progressive. They did everything they could to get us out and did and we were back on the road

So I was stuck in Krogers parking lot in Decatur the other day. My car wouldn't start, I had no idea what I was gonna do. I called this towing company to get a idea of how much it would cost me to get not only my car but myself and my daughter home to Athens. I told the man that answered the phone thx you and I'd call back if I wanted to tow it home. Next thing after just a little while my phone rings and it's someone from the towing company came and found me JUST TO SEE IF HE COULD HELP!!! I couldn't believe it!, I still can't believe it. He must've been my good luck charm because my car started! But he came free of charge with no intention of payment, just to see if he could help. i will always think of this companhiif ever I need anything automotive and I will never forget the gentleman that came to my rescue .
I called around three shops they were either crazy expensive or wait would be way too long. Pro tech record service was there extremely fast and the cheapest. The driver, Chris I believe his name was super nice and very kind.
Our truck broke down on the road in front of our house in Trinity. After one quick call, they immediately came by our place of employment, picked up the key from us, went to our house, and towed it to the Pro-Tech shop in Decatur to fix it for us.
