I've had three separate experiences with Rodney and Brian. All good! They are on par with prices around town. I don't want the cheapest mechanic ,because I love my truck! I've been quoted more when I shopped around. They have come to me to fix a flat tire. They have rotated my tires. They even moved my travel trailer. I just got my truck back with an oil change, and new brakes and rotors. Their mechanics are on point.
My vehicle broke down in Semmes and I called these people for a quote. The price I was quoted to tow my SUV roughly 4 and a half miles was way higher than every other towing company I contacted in the Semmes area. I'd suggest going elsewhere.
I managed to get my vehicle home without using them, but I still feel weirded out by the quite and hiw they perform business.
From the reviews I'm seeing from other people, I can say I'll probably avoid this place if I ever need a tow in the future. They seem to show signs of sketchy business practices.
This company towed my car from apartments handicap spot when I in fact have a decal for handicap charged me $300 and damaged my vehicle costing me to spend $744 more dollars on repair. And the junk yard they took it to the day after I washed it was a mud bath. Definitely just contact an attorney and about to sue!
Rodney and Brian treated me with respect and kindness. They towed my car and worked on it. I was very pleased. I will use them from now own and fully recommend them
This company preys on college students. They hooked up my car and when my daughter told the driver what was going on he forced her and a roommate to go to the bank at 1:00 am to get cash just to unhook the car. Totally ridiculous.
My car was towed, whenever I called to find out if they had towed it, the man who answered was unnecessarily aggressive towards me. He did not clearly confirm if he had my car and just kept telling me to call the next day. I ended up calling Mobile police to confirm he had my car and he was very upset that I would do that even though I had every right to do so. When a male friend called, there was a huge attitude difference towards him versus towards me. When he finally would tell me how to get my car, he gave the location, the amount, and told me to "come without my attitude" after I told him how he spoke to me was inappropriate. He proceeded to say he recorded our conversation, stated he would pull up the recordings(which I am more than okay with him doing it and listening to himself and how aggressive he was) and that I called every five minutes. I called twice thirty minutes apart, my family called once. After that, I recorded our conversations as well. I wonder if he would be okay with speaking to his own daughter like that or having someone speak to his daughter like that(if he has one). I am an out of state college student. Ultimately, I had to get a man to help in the situation because I did not feel safe with how aggressive he was towards me to the point that I had ended up crying. I am not disputing that he didn't have the right to tow my car, he did. But no grown man has a right to talk to a woman like this. Lastly, it is a cash only business and ironically, the amount to get your car back is the exact maximum amount that you can withdraw from your bank. He is towing from a college apartment, college students don't have that money and it took up most of my last paycheck. I get paid slightly on the higher side for an average college student, something like this would put the average college student in a bad position.
If I could leave zero stars I would. This company illegally towed my vehicle from somewhere they were not even on contract with anymore. The company stated that they were called by the apartment complex to tow a vehicle however both the complex manager and staff have called and written emails stating that it was not them. The apartment complex also stated to them to no do any more tows from the complex. The staff is very rude. Do not let them scam you to. Due to them not wanting to cooperate legal action will be taken now.
Rodney the tow truck driver, towed my daughter’s vehicle because she parked in the wrong spot. Friday night they were told they could get it at 10 am, he repeatedly hung up on her and accused her of cussing him out, which never happened. The next morning she shows up to get the vehicle and he is no where around and the building is secure. I call him and he hangs up on me, talks over me and tells me if I don’t like what he is saying, I can wait until Monday to get the vehicle. He said he may be available after 4, he doesn’t know. He refused to give me managements contact information. I messaged the Facebook page and the response from them, assuming the owner was that we would have to deal with this kind of treatment or wait until Monday. I am not sure what world men disrespect women like this, but for a business owner to allow this, is completely unacceptable. Do not do business with the company and cancel your contracts with them. They do have a tough job and deal with difficult situations, but for them to treat people the way they have is completely unacceptable. The police said they can’t support but reported they have had several incidences like this with Rodney and this company.

I understand I parked in the wrong spot, totally my fault but I was told it was $300 to get my car back but the invoice only said it was $250. Extremely annoyed that it had to be cash only as well.

No signs posted, they tow cars that they know will pay meanwhile leaving cars parked illegally they know may not have the “cash” they insist on!!!
They are scamming people based on who has the nicer cars and who will pay the cash so they do not have to claim it on taxes.

Called at 8:25am for a tow. Was told it would be 30-45 min. Called back at 9:35am and was told they never got in contact with their driver. No call back to update me. These guys must be the dumbest people around. They’ll leave you stranded. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Little Bittys showed up in 8 minutes.
I was on vacation and had a flat tire while going out to eat. Semmes Towing and Recovery came as quickly as he could, and changed my tire for the spare. He was very helpful and courteous. I appreciate his promptness and kindness.
Ion even bring up that i’m african american when i’m not treated correctly but this place is about racist as it gets. I was in there ready to just come and pick up the car while I was vaping and the owner came in and instantly let me have it. I said “i won’t do it in here no more” He said “you need to get out”. So after that when i gave him the money he said there is a after hour fee which he said was “4:00” pm. THE SIGN OUTSIDE THE PLACE SAYS 9-5 So when i went back in the trailer to ask the man what’s up with the sign he said that’s up there for “state reasons” ???? We proceeded to go back and forth because i was genuinely confused and just wanted to know how to get my car and he walked off while i was talking to him. I asked him can he just speak to me eye to eye so i can understand how to get my car out from the towing place. So I gave him $275 which was $25 dollars more than he said it would cost last night and then after hour fee was $50 more. You can tell i’m pretty upset but more of the fact of how he treated a costumer. I come from a military family so I know how to treat others and Id say he didn’t treat me with any respect at all. I don’t recommend this place at all and it should be out of business.
Had to get a $30 Uber to get to this place in the middle of nowhere, only for them to tell me I can’t pay the $250 with a card which they did not specify on the phone, so I had to take another Uber 20 miles roundtrip to the nearest bank.
Would not recommend using this company. I hope you never have the unfortunate instance where you get towed by this company. Won’t let you have a vehicle towed off their “property” (it’s a yard), won’t let you even attempt to jumpstart your car on their property. Absolutely no empathy. Just want your money. Had to pay about $70 extra just to have them tow it to the road to attempt to jumpstart the car? First time I ever heard of a place doing that. Worse experience with this company, as if having your car towed isn’t stressful enough, don’t expect this company to be empathetic or helpful.
Was on the ball…made it to the wreck in record time had my car loaded and debris swept up before I was done signing paperwork!!! Even towed it to my house for the low low!!! Wish I could give um 10⭐
STRAIGHT CROOKS...After explaining I had to come from Louisiana to get my vehicle I was told the price was $150 and I had until 10pm. Called at 6:47 to make sure someone would be there and was told I had to wait until 8. Get there and they charged me $210. Even after listening to the recording proving what was told to me.
