I am a local guy and I wanted to support local but this time I wish I wouldn’t have. I had Outback trailers build me a custom long trailer to fit 2 polaris 4 door Rzr’s. Once I received it I knew bringing it home I wasn’t gonna be happy with it. The paint was alright. Had some runs in various places but I was gonna let that slide. Tires on it was so cheap it bounced and fishtailed all over the place loaded or empty. After using the trailer 3 times the lights quit working I started to fix the lights and after a few uses and fixing the horrible wiring job it came with I decided to replace the whole harness out of my pocket, during that time the gate started to brake. I took it back to outback because of this “lifetime structural warranty” I wanted them to fix the bad design of the gate and they did but wanted to charge me for the repair. I asked her why I should be liable for a bad design when I gave them every dimension and explained exactly how the trailer would be used. The owner just said well it’s a wear item so we won’t cover it. The trailer is 2 months old at this point. Been used 6 times. At that point I knew I got taken for. I way overpaid for it in the first place but wanted to support local. I could have got a gooseneck which is what I have now for the same price I paid for this bumper pull 28ft trailer. I still have it but wish I didn’t.
Do not go to this place they wired my plug on my trailer wrong and burnt all my brakes up and could have caused someone to get killed and would not cover the damage caused. All the workers are not qualified at all PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE
I purchased a duel 5500lb trailer from them with hide away ramps and haven't been happier! My cadillac CTS 4 has very low ground clearance and the only thing that rubs driving up is the factory air dam under the extended front spoiler. The axles are placed perfectly on the trailer. Weight distribution is easy and the built in flush hook rings are the way to go.

I had a full trailer brake failure, and light failure. Outback trailers had me back on the road being able to service my clients again in less than 12 hours. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Had outback trailers to install two 10 ton axles on my trailer and I made it 100 yards from home and weld broke ruined trailer but they refused to fix.
This is the second time I've done business with Outback Trailers. And I should have left a review after the first time. The first time I went needing pieces for a full suspension rebuild on a 25-year-old trailer. I was able to get everything from here as a one-stop shop. Just last week I lost a wheel bearing on my brake axle on the same trailer, destroying the axle. Given the violent nature of that failure I decided getting an entire new axle and two pre-built idler hubs for the other was the most cost-effective solution both money and time-wise. Everything was ready to go super quick. and Both times I've been there, everybody that I've dealt with has been amazing to deal with. I can't complain about their prices either. They for sure have earned a repeat customer.
I had to get a replacement axle for my 6x10 enclosed trailer. Without this trailer I'm out of business. Outback Trailers were super easy to do business with and outfitted me with the exact part I needed. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future.
Amazing Company! I pulled into the loves across the street and noticed I had sheered off 4 studs on my hub. (I work over the road so I am away from home) I called over there to Outback Trailers and within 15 minutes they had brought me a new hub, With everything I needed. Great price! I would have been shut down for hours or days if they did not come to the rescue! Thank y’all so much!
Live 2.5 hours from Steele, Alabama. Wanted to give them business because they were referred....First problem.... Safety chains were not on the trailer when I went to pick it up. Had the trailer 6 months and the rear leaf spring bolt slipped with about 1klbs on the trailer. Contacted seller and sent pictures. Called asking if it was a common problem. They said I had to have hit something to cause the problem. Being an honest person, I wouldn't have called them to ask why it may have slipped if I knew I had caused the problem myself. Was an insult to me but show's the business mindset..
This was 100% the best business we’ve ever dealt with while traveling or having breakdowns on the road. We had a horrible problem with our 5th wheel camper frame while traveling 13 hours from home. Chad not only got us in within a days notice when they were clearly booked out days/weeks in advance on repair work but they were one of the most honest and down to earth businesses I’ve ever dealt with. If only they were closer I’d never go to another trailer company the rest of my life. Thank you guys again for making it possible for us to get home safe and sound!!

Had Chad and the gang to do a first time project for me and it came out great. Collaboration between the two of us yielded a great product. If you ever are by there asked him about the bbq trailer they turned my idea into.
Feeling frustrated. I brought a trailer in for axle replacement and new tires. The work conducted on the trailer was satisfactory. My reason for 1 star is When I asked for my house trailer axles and the 4 new matching corestone tires on open face rims 295.00 in value before mounting. the owner seemed frustrated. You would think after paying 960.00 for repairs returning my tires would not be a big deal. I planned on purchasing a new equipment trailer in the fall, but will be using Texas pride in Tennessee. I had a much better experience with them. Worth the drive.
