I had an excellent experience at Advance Auto Parts on Montgomery Hwy in Vestavia Hills AL, thanks to Charles. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough. He took time to explain everything clearly and made sure I had exactly what I needed before I left. His customer service truly stood out and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free.

Melina and Dylan are top tier at this location! They helped with some battery issues on my lovely ole Toyota Corolla. Great at what they do and super friendly. They made this semi stressful event quick and painless. 👍🏾👍🏾

Went in to buy engine and cabin filters for my Honda as well as to get a replacement battery for my spare key. No problem with the filters but it was obvious Tarneitha wasn’t going to be bothered with the remote key battery. Hope I didn’t put you out too bad. Went to another Advance Auto and had it done in 5 or 6 minutes. I’ll pass on this store from now on.

Customer service was great. The young lady,didn't get her name was the best. The part I ordered was not available in such a short amount of time other than here at Advance Auto.

I recently replaced my car battery at your workshop. Unfortunately, the employee who performed the replacement forgot to save the car's memory settings, causing the screen to stop working. I contacted one of your employees and was advised to visit the dealership to determine the repair cost or bring a document from the dealership detailing the repair cost. When I went to the dealership, they informed me that they could not fix the problem and could not provide any documentation because they were not responsible for the problem. I then returned to your workshop, and one of your employees called the dealership and gave me the phone number of someone I could speak with. I spoke with him, and he advised me to check the fuse. After examining it, it turned out that the screen was damaged. Later, I visited another car screen repair shop, and they confirmed that the damage was caused by a battery replacement. I returned to your workshop and reported this to your team. Although you have always been polite and helpful when speaking with me, no action has been taken to resolve the issue. I kindly ask you to take responsibility and help resolve this issue as soon as possible. (((( The screen was working perfectly before the battery was replaced )))))). I will not update my rating until the issue is resolved.

The service here was mid at best. The best part about this was actually being able to get what we came for, BUT the guy that checked us out was a little lost. Also, the lady that helped him caught an attitude with me for asking questions about a mistake THEY made. Unfortunately would not recommend.

Freaking love the guys here they are all kind & not creepy lol it's nice to able to go in & not have to worry as a woman that you will be treated like you are uneducated, or not fit to fix something on your vehicle. That's just a bonus though because Ms. Shawn is definitely helping to keep things running smoothly & she is such an uplifting & encouraging person. Wonderful customer service, educated & quick responses to all the silly questions I had. Anyway I've been in here several times this year 🫠 & have received excellent service from the staff. The place is neat & clean. Thank you Ms. Shawn for the help, & for making me feel I could be my own mechanic with your positive attitude! 🦾🔋

I purchased rotors & brake pads for my truck. They gave me 7lug, I needed 6lug at the Letson Farm, Bessemer store. Took back to exchange, they didn't have any. Had to go to the Hoover store costing me an 1.5hrs & $23 more after spending $170. I should've checked YET THEY SHOULD'VE GOT IT RIGHT. Shouldn't have cost me extra $.

Terrible customer service. I asked where the washer fluid was after walking around the whole store twice. Employee said that's a good question and walked off.. then asked another employee.. "Do you have any washer fluid?" He said.. I doubt it.. and left it at that.. what the hell kind of service is this? If you don't have any just say "I'm sorry sir, I think we are out but I can double check for you".. employees here are rude

Que was so helpful in helping me get the battery in my Ford F-150 changed. She was very personable and entertaining while we waited. Affordable, quick and easy. 10/10 recommend!

Great service. Even during the rain, Pete was courteous and installed my new battery in the rain. I asked if he was the manager and he said he was the assistant. He should have his own store as he went above and beyond providing service (which is rare these days).

Store #06042 Joseph B. Was a great help. Very courteous took time out of his busy schedule to assist me and changing out a pulley on a power steering pump that I was having trouble with. He is an ace of an employee a model for all others!

Always have what I need. The employees are helpful. Buy battery and they install for free. TIP: Usually their website will offer an online coupon code. Code not usable in store so order online to save the $, then pick up your order in store in 30min. Website accepts PayPal which really speeds up checkout.

Sean is the best and makes this place great to go to. I would not be a patron if it wasn't for him. Not because I have a problem with company, but just because I would shop wherever he is. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the place is organized and clean. The location is especially great and honestly by far the best I have ever been to. They are willing to help with questions and even have helped me install simply things in my car. I really love this hoover/vestavia (hwy 31) location.

I recently moved near this Advanced and have been stopping here and there to grab small things for my truck. A team member named Kam really helped me out. Not only was he welcoming and kind, he had knowledge of all the products I needed to get giving me the best value. Also props to Kam again for being well groomed.(which you don't often see in the auto industry/ retail). Will shop here again and recommend to friends .

The staff here was very generous to me of their time and expertise. They spend time helping me despite the fact it became apparent after a while that I needed a fix bigger than what I could buy from their store. One employee even pulled his car by mine to jump it off after and jumppack wasn’t working. Then they invited me to wait inside while a tow truck came to pick me up. Very pleased with the service. Will definitely return for auto parts in the future.
