I was surprised how easy, quick and efficient the process was to sell my car with a failed engine that was not feasible to fix. Very good experience. Everything went very well for us. It was very hard to let the escape go because of all the good times we've had in it. Lots if vacations. It's worth a lot more than we got, and I feel like I got taken advantage on a little, but other than that, Omar was very helpful and patient with me. And the driver that pick it up was good as well.
I will say that everyone I talked to was polite and was quick with selling my car, I would most definitely do business with them in the future if I have the same circumstances happen. Vishal Kumar was the first person I spoke with. They were pleasant and courteous. All of the reps I spoke with were courteous. However, the driver for my original appointment never showed up or called. I had to call to find out what was going on and to have my appointment rescheduled. I understood that they were short on tow trucks from Hurricane Helene. When I rescheduled, I specifically asked if my vehicle would definitely be picked up at the next appointed time, because I had to drive 160 miles to meet the driver, and I didn't want it to be a waste of time again. I was reassured that the driver would definitely be there at the given window of time. Fast forward to the day of my new appointment -- in my way to meet the driver, I get a call from CoPart, telling me that my driver won't be able to make it, and that he had to help someone else who was supposed to have their car picked up 4 days prior. My car was also supposed to have been picked up 4 days prior. I was upset, and asked them what I was supposed to do. They said they would try to reset my request to get a driver down to meet me, and call me back in a few minutes. About an hour passed, so I had my husband make some calls to dispatch. He was able to get someone to meet me, and everything was seamless once I finally had someone pick up my vehicle. I did get the check in the amount I was expecting. However, I feel like I was dismissed and given the run around.

I was driving a problematic vehicle for over a year and on my way to the auto shop it broke down. Terrible experience. You guys started out strong, then absolutely flopped. My car broke down 2 hours from home. Fast forward a few days, I'm in a new car, old car still sitting in Birmingham, AL. Called these guys, they made an okay offer, so I agreed. They told me they'd pick up same day, which meant I had to drive 2 hours back to my car. I waited for over 4 hours, only to learn their yard closed at the beginning of the window they provided. So now, my car is still in Birmingham and I had to make the 2 hour drive back, no progress made. I'm posting this in every possible place I can to warn others that these people are not reliable.

Cash for Cars offered me the most for my very old car. The process went smoothly. The only hitch was they were scheduled to pick my car up on Friday afternoon and they were a no show. I called and found out from dispatch that they were short on drivers and would pick my car up on Saturday. They arrived the next morning, wrote me a check and towed my car away. I had to give the driver my notarized title. This was in Baton Rouge, La. I would use Cash for Cars again.
