I just want to say Classic Towing was a lifesaver when my tire decided to blow out on my way home from work. I thought I had a spare in the trunk to no avail. Therefore, I had to have my baby towed home til the morning. RJ was great and our communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend this company.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an exceptional experience with Classic Towing and Recovery, LLC! After calling my car insurance provider (USAA) to dispatch a tow using our towing and labor benefit, I was contacted promptly by Classic Towing to confirm details. Within 30-40 minutes, the driver RJ arrived — and he was absolutely professional from start to finish. 
RJ took great care in loading my minivan onto the truck, handling everything with skill, patience, and a positive attitude. He made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier. On top of that, RJ safely towed our van 50 miles back home without any issues.
Huge shout out to RJ and the whole team at Classic Towing and Recovery for outstanding service. Highly recommend them for reliable, courteous, and efficient towing!

The Worst towing company in the area. 10 minutes out is their go to response when they are asked about an ETA knowing full well that they are just telling people what they want to hear instead of just being truthful... We had to schedule a tow through our insurance company after my car stalled due to flooded roadways in Birmingham. When we scheduled the tow, we received a message within minutes with an ETA of 1.5 hours. We fully expected it to take a couple of hours because of the weather so we waited patiently. We called back twice within the 4 hours just to get an update on arrival time and was told each time that the tow truck was just down the road and asked to please bear with them due to an increase in calls. We waited & waited.. for 4 full hours only for them to lie & lie & lie again by giving us their go to response of " the truck is 10 mins out, it's just up the road from your location". We finally just cancelled the tow service with Classic Towing and called TJ's Towing Company who is already enroute to our location with an ETA of 38 minutes. Here's a new idea Classic Towing, try being honest with people that are requesting your service. People are generally more understanding that things take time when they are given information that they can trust. 10 mins out doesnt equate to 4 or 5 hours later..And TJ's Towing just arrived at our location to tow my car home.. And he has arrived earlier than expected, I might add!

While traveling home from Alabama on a Saturday afternoon, I found myself stranded with flat tire and no spare. Some tire stores were closed and others did not routinely stock the size/type of tire I needed. Once located, the next challenge was to get there before the store closed. Trey, at the 4631 US 280 location of Mavis Tire, assured me that he would wait until I managed to get towed there. The first tow truck who arrived could not get me there because it was outside his area. I was ultimately rescued by Joe with Classic Towing and Recovery who transported us to Mavis, where Trey was holding a bay open for us. Joe came from 45 minutes away and safely transported us 35 miles further. We arrived just 10 minutes after they closed. Because of Joe and Trey, I made it home safely. I am truly grateful for the kindness and exceptional service.

When my car died on the side of the interstate, ALFA connected me with Classic Towing. Ralph did a fantastic and professional job of getting my vehicle secured and hauled home. Did a fantastic job of dropping the vehicle off, despite the... "quirky" nature of my driveway. Great guy, great service. Wishing them well.
My driver was Ralph. He showed up at 3:30 in the morning after another towing company, United, left me hanging for three hours. He did a great job even though my car wouldn’t go into neutral. He got it picked up and dropped off at my home with zero issues. Definitely recommend Ralph and Classic Towing. The company needs to fix his driver seat for him though. It looked rough.
Great company, Great price! When I called today to have my vehicle towed, poor Ralph had no idea the adventure he was about to embark on. He was awesome and communicated with me the entire time. He DEFINETLY earned his paycheck today. Definitely would recommend.
Classic Towing Heavy Towing is the best. The driver was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly experienced with heavy haul towing. They assessed the situation, explained the process, and handled my [equipment/vehicle] with great care to prevent any damage during loading/unloading and transport. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden fees.Thanks to office staff for Welcoming me to get comfortable while waiting for my family to arrive. I would definitely recommend and use again.

If I could give negative stars I would. After Gieco set up a tow with this company, and was given explicit instructions to take the vehicle back to our home, the driver informs us that geico instructed them to take it back to their shop. After multiple calls to Gieco with several different confirmations that Gieco had instructed them to take it to our home the driver again insists that dispatch says to take it to their shop per Gieco. After speaking with gieco again yesterday afternoon after the incident we got another confirmation that the vehicle was supposed to be taken to our home. Classic towing has charged us $85 just to get our own property from the vehicle and close to $1000 to release our vehicle and is still standing by the fact that Gieco instructed them to take our vehicle to their shop, even after we've confirmed SEVERAL times with our insurance company that it was supposed to come to our home. After doing research on Classic towing we've discovered that this place is an absolute joke. An F rating with the BBB, and several accounts of similar stories and even more negative reviews regarding their sheer lack of ability to conduct their business properly. I HIGHLY recommend you DO NOT use this place.
Just look at the last two reviews on here and they’ll tell you everything you need to know about this company. We waited over 2.5 hours longer than what they said it would be and when the guy got there(from right down the street) he had zero tools and acted like he didn’t know what he was doing. Then brought a dead jump box… save yourself time and money. Don't use this unprofessional company.
Worst experience with a towing company I've ever had. I do NOT recommend this towing place. If your insurance sends you and its not too late, have them have them send you somewhere else.
It started at 6:30 after I get off a full days work. That's when I get the text that they would be there in 60 minutes. Well, by 8 o'clock, an hour and a half later, I call and I'm told that the guy is on the interstate and that I'm next. Then I call again at 9, an hour later, and I'm told that he's still coming. At 10, another hour later, I call AGAIN and I'm told that he should be close. After I call there ay 10 I call my insurance company and they call them. That's when it's revealed that only one person is working... on a Saturday night?! Mind you I just need a tire change! It's not like I need a tow or anything extra! I just need my spare put on! So then 11 o'clock rolls around and my mom calls them and I don't know what she said to them but suddenly they are only 20-25 minutes out. It hits 11:40 and he FINALLY shows up. Doesn't apologize for the long wait or anything. I don't say much. He fixes my tire and it takes all of five minutes and then finally I get to go home.
So yes, an original estimate of sixty minutes turned into a five hour wait time with vague reassurances that they are coming but certainly not in a rush.
I would give zero stars if I could. This company demonstrated the absolute worst kind of negligence and disregard for customer service I have ever encountered.
My son was stranded at the airport at midnight when his car needed to be unlocked. We called this towing company through AAA, expecting professional and timely service. Instead, he was left waiting alone in the dark for nearly six hours. The only thing worse than the delay itself was the constant stream of reassurances: “We’re on our way.” Hour after hour, they repeated the same empty promise, and hour after hour my son sat waiting—tired, unsafe, and completely abandoned.
By the time someone finally arrived, it was almost sunrise. That is not just bad service—it’s reckless, irresponsible, and dangerous. Leaving anyone—let alone a teenager at an airport parking lot—stranded for six hours in the middle of the night is unacceptable under any circumstances.
What makes this even more disturbing is that this company is AAA-contracted. AAA members trust that their contractors will be reliable, professional, and prompt. This company failed spectacularly on all counts and has no business representing AAA or servicing its members.
If you value your safety, your time, or even basic honesty, avoid this company at all costs. They clearly do not care about their customers, and they have no sense of urgency or accountability.
Lisa is absolutely AMAZING!!! Her problem solving skills and amazing personality are second to none. She made what was already a terrible and stressful day so much better with her pleasant attitude and kindness. The world could definitely use a lot more Lisa’s. Thank you so much for being so thorough and genuinely nice!
Initially the kid that loaded my bike and gave me a ride was great. The folks were tired but courteous considering it was late. Then I get pictures on how it arrived at the cycle shop. $500+ tow. Going to need my money back. Would have emailed but it isnt an option.
