I Wish I could give these people a negative 1 star. Don't ever buy a part from these people. They are horrible. Nasty conniving talking people ever. I bought a engine three weeks ago paid money up front cash had to wait a week to get it then just to lose money on top of money finding out supposed to been a good engine but had a blown head gasket and failing oil pump I'm just disgusted that I didn't look at the reviews first I wouldn't even recommend a child to get a bike chain from these people. Still been waiting on another engine still haven't received or gotten a call boss man acting like he so busy that he can't be in office then the women so nasty it's crazy how a business talk to there customers after they sell you non working parts. Just waisted so much dealing with them crooked people
I am so sorry I went to this place. I was sold 2 bad motors and the first motor was the wrong size. I purchased the motor in November and I finally received my car on 2/14/2025. There are still issues with the motor. Something has to be done. I wished I had read these reviews before I went to Astros. They need to be shut down. They have horrible attitudes as well. I pray they are stopped before anyone else is scammed
I bought a motor for my 2015 GMC Yukon Denali said to have 29,000 miles from this place. Completely useless I would never I mean never ever tell anyone about this place totally a scam worthless junk is what they are selling motor didn’t last 6 months before it had my wife stranded I paid almost 6000 for the engine. George was the guy I had talked to so please please do not buy from this place allways spend the extra money and get a rebuilt engine with the program that allways allows all your cyclinders to stay pumping instead of switching back to 4 cyclinders to save gas and so u will have a 100,000 thousand mile warranty or a couple of years to enjoy your vehicle so please stay away from Astro world auto parts.
I really wish I could give this place a negative 5 star I paid for a part over a week ago and I have gotten run around after run around and still haven’t gotten the part or my money back! I’m going to call bbb and report this place! Bad business and horrible customer service I wouldn’t recommend to anybody
might as well buy parts new at autozone... The lady at front desk rude as hell but if I looked like that my attitude would be nasty also... One more thing they will give you the wrong part so be careful they want give you a refund
I drove up from south Montgomery County because they were the only ones that had a motor I needed. The first one I got I couldn't spin it completely over to install torque converter bolts, yes I was aggravated having driven 5 hours. But without hesitation they offered a replacement it took about a week but the replacement was tested out of a much newer model and there prices can't be beat. I can honestly tell you I'll be back repeatedly.
Lady or secretary or helper what ever she is She is very very rude an should not be in contact with customers. Not a place to spend money when service as awful as hers PLEASE GO ELSE wHERE DO NOT SUPPORT A BUSINESS LIKE THIS !!!!
Terrible service never do business with this company I brought a car in to get a motor put in it took 7 months just for him to tell he can’t do it but sold me a car that lasted 2 months motor went out
I got a 125,000 mi 4.6 triton a year ago and it's been going strong with good even compression and no oil usage with a positive outlook for the future. The only negative was the engine was stored outside.
This place should shut down. Worst worst ever. If you can’t sell good parts you should give people their hard earned money back. I would give -6 if possible
Paid for an engine on January 6th here it is February 8th still no motor can't get nobody answer the phone nobody will return my calls and I'm not getting anywhere with getting a refund on my money I would not buy a thing from these people
I've been all over Birmingham and surrounding areas looking for parts for my Lexus? And they seem to have them plus my daughter-in-law bought a drive shaft from them for her car if it's perfect. Not to mention their 30-day money back guarantee. Awesome sauce
Basically ROBBED ME. Bought a compressor, came back a hour later cause it was SHOT OUT, then they tried to blame me and said I tampered with it, although it was impossible for me to do so. NEVER GO HERE! Carl and that lady up front should be ASHAMED OF THEMSLEVES! Terrible business, better off grabbing your 10 speed
The girl at the front desk has one of the worst attitude you would ever want to encounter.I would never recommend this place to anyone. I'll make this statement and it can be applied to all walks of life. If you don't like your occupation or what you're doing in life please find something else to do. It's just as simple as that.
Customer service is terrible. I was told I would receive a call once the part was pulled and never received one. Also was told if I put a deposit down they would pull the part needed and it was never pulled. This whole no refund deal they have it’s just absolutely ridiculous, especially when it’s their mess up!!
Worst customer service I've experienced in quite a while. Also I was quoted a price for a part over the phone but when I arrived the price was 3 times higher.
I've been doing business here on and off for years. The service is getting worse and worse, on my last stop they made me pay in advance, then brought the wrong part, an hour later they figured out they didn't have what I needed, yet they still didn't want to give me a refund. I use this place as a last resort
These are the sorriest unprofessional People in the world. The manager threatened me of cursing out his wife when I arrived, literally took 2 hours for them to pull my part. Profanity and arguing in front of my 7 year old son. I called for one day about one part and I guess they take turns answering the phone and they all were lying about searching for a part. I came in the next day and 2 hours before the scheduled closing time because they felt like it.
Front desk is rude. Ask about condition of motor and he acts like I'm crazy. Then hangs up the phone

Went to get a tailgate hinge ole buddy wanted 20 bucks they retail for $22 that guy has lost his mind and pulled the part myself because of the long wait. Left the part on the desk.
Jeff at the front desk is very nice. However they tell you they have parts you need and when you arrive they do not have the parts. Theu are way over priced on everything!
Takes them forever and their prices tend to be way higher than their competitors. And tend to give you the wrong parts. Really doesn't deserve a 2 star rating. Needs a 0
I called them about a rear end for a mustang. I was told that they had it. I asked if the rotors were in good shape and was told "yes". I drove 45min to their location to find out they didnt even have one!!
The WORST experience I have ever had with a 'business'. These people will bleed you dry if you let them. They will give you the wrong parts, or provide you with broken parts. Absolutely DO NOT give the people here your business.
Do Not go to this place unless you like to waste time and money. They have a no refund only trade in policy. I brought an alternator for my car for $55 and it didn't work. All their stuff is sold as is. An if they can't find me the same part again and it still doesn't work then thats $55 down the drain. Beware, first and last time for me!
