Florida resident here! I can't say enough about the owner, Kevin. My journey to get to know him began when I was headed home from working out of town and broke down in the middle of nowhere on a country backroad. As a woman I panicked and immediately started googling nearby places which he was the only nearby autoshop. I pulled up and even though Kevin was backed up and working to finish up some much bigger jobs he stopped to check on my car that was overheating. He immediately told me what was wrong and was honest that he could not get to it that day but he would prioritize my car first thing in the morning. He even offered to help me get it to another shop that said they could do it the same day but they wanted to charge me TWICE as much as Kevin. He helped me tow my car there and when I called him after hours to tell him what they quoted me he came back to get my car for me so that he could fix it...again for half the price.
What an amazing human. Such a terrible day turned into me feeling like God surrounded me with the most genuine and trustworthy people.
Kevin fixed my car, charged me more than fairly and even fixed up some things he saw wrong with it for free such as my tire having a nail. I was quite overwhelmed on my 2 hr drive home thinking about all the sacrifices he and his beautiful partner made to get me home safely.
I can go on & on about Kevin. A God send to me on a rough day.
Attached is a photo of me sitting on the ground quite emotional and Kevin saving the day so that I could get home to my family on our camping trip I did not want to miss. Oh did I mention that he woke up extra early (6AM) Saturday morning to start my car so that I wouldn't miss my trip with my family and messaged me on my way to make sure that I made it safely.
Fantastic mechanic. We are so happy to have such a competent, trustworthy, and friendly business owner here in Rehobeth. Kevin has fixed every vehicle issue we've had over several years, and we have never had a single problem resurface. It is evident that he treats all his customers right, because he is ALWAYS busy. Went in because my A/C quit working on my 2016 Mustang GT and he was very helpful and professional with the the diagnostic and repair. My A/C has never worked so well!!! Would definitely recommend to anyone who asks.

I called Kevin when my back brakes started scrubbing, he got me in right away which was awesome within itself! He also got right on the job and finished it quickly as it was our only way of going. I was so thankful when I drove away not to hear that metal on metal sound. He was very reasonable on the costs too as I have had a place in Dothan charge me 500-600 more than what they should have charged me for my front brakes. He does awesome work and will not steer you wrong I highly recommend!!! Thank you Kevin!
I have been looking for somewhere to take my work commuter(2002 Honda Civic) in regards to diagnosing my intermittent A/C system. Heard good things about Rebel Automotive which is conveniently right down the road from me. Kevin answered my call right away asked me to bring it in for inspection. He figured out I had a bad compressor, which was replaced and made sure my Honda’s a/c system had no leaks before putting the correct amount of refrigerant/oil in. Kevin took the time to keep me updated on his progress throughout the job even with taking care of other customers in the process. He completed everything in no time at all. Very satisfied with the work he did for an affordable low price and now I have ice cold A/C on my way to work. Highly recommend Rebel Automotive Repair!
Great service. Great mechanic! I had a bad wire in my accelerator and would have had to replace the whole harness if he hadn't found it. Saved me a lot of time and money.
Called around to numerous shops and nobody would install the starter I had purchased a few months ago. I called Kevin @ Rebel Automotive and he ensured me what he could do with a firm low price. I was a walk-in and not only was he able to squeeze me into his busy schedule, everything was done within the hour. I went to pick up my 2010 Hyundai Elantra and I could tell where he went out of his way to change my passenger reverse light. Thank you again Kevin. Best around Dothan hands down. Kevin Did the repair work on my Silverado's Ac system, I was at my wits end and he took it a step further and was able to diagnose a failed clutch and by result the compressor not to far out either, He told me exactly what happened, my options and what to do, His timeline of being a couple days to do the job as was the price. His work is quality and top notch for a one man operation, You would not be disappointed using his shop or skills.

Needed work done on our Honda Odyssey. Changed the timing belt and tensioner as well as checked a/c, on another occasion changed plugs and wires, changed light bulbs. Great work, on time service and reasonable prices.

We met Kevin while traveling across Alabama on New Year's Day 2021. Our vehicle broke down and left us stranded in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Soon we would discover just how many dealerships and automotive repair shops are open on New Year's Day. None. Thankfully the tow truck driver told us about Kevin and that we could trust him to work on our vehicle. His shop was not far away and we found a motel to stay at. Now the question is how long are we stuck in a motel with my wife and our two teen age boys. Kevin was able to take care of our vehicle the next morning so that we could leave before paying for yet another motel room and charged us less than I would have expected. Kevin was kind and very professional. We would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Kevin for all that you did for us.
