In our experience, we were given a fair price for our old family van that had run its course. We appreciated that they came to pick the van up from our home (as it was not running) and were able to complete the process with cash in hand, on the spot. Very kind & we had no complaints nor issues at all!
(I'm fairly belated in posting this review as it has been about 11 months ago that we last did business with M&D. However, we would not hesitate to do business with them again.)
Don't go here. It's not u pull anymore, and if the part isn't expensive or they don't feel like pulling it they'll tell you they don't have it. The guy at the front desk is a joke and has little to no knowledge of what he's even doing. It sucks cause this used to be a good place for on the spot parts.
I have never felt so uncomfortable in my entire life.. that man was nearly drooling in me and making passes at me the whole time I was there. Ladies stay away please!!
Small Junkyard.Tjey will pull the Part for you.Seemed friendly.Wasnt to knowageable on part I needed but looked it up and was able to assist me planty.Prices was Decent.Very Small Parking lot.Wasnt to Clean but it's a Junkyard what can you Expect.4 out of 5 Stars for this place
Bought a motor from them had to pay for it first before could even check it out needed a 2005 v10 motor got to the vehicle and it was in a van wasn't a 3 valve v10 only a 2 valve plus the motor also had a blowed head gasket didn't even turn a wrench on it went back to the office told them it was no good plus it was the wrong motor and they wouldn't give me a refund on the motor told me it was mine I had bought it even though there receipts say that they will give a refund if it is no good so I will never shop with them ever again
I called about a part got a price paid them upfront for part and for them to remove went to pic it up and already paid price went from 145$ to 500$ not the way to do bus5
Don't go To M and D salvage they don't honor there parts the receipt clearly says 30 day warranty, No cash back exchange only and they don't honor that at all, it's a big rip off scamming everyone that comes there you have to pay $1 just to walk out and see if they even have your part and that's ridiculous in itself. But to not honor your own receipt that clearly says 30 day warranty is poor business, we would have been fine just exchanging it but you don't even do that,and that's also printed on the receipt. We won't ever do business with y'all again and we will be telling everyone we know to go find a different salvage yard y'all are crooked and taking advantage of poor people.
Shitty service everything high price mine as well got to Amazon r somewhere else wouldn't even let me get the part of the car cuz they r some sorry folks that work there 0out of 10bevery time I have been there
Well I went and bought two sets from them and wen 8 bought them I plainly asked them if it didn't work could I return and they said yes both times and wen I got there to return the part they said ain't nothing they can do so they just took my money I even asked if I could just get another part and they wouldn't tdo that

I bought an ac compressor from them because no one else had one. The compressor they sent me wasnt any good. They were going to make it up with another used compressor. After two days of them doing whatever they were doing they call me today and said the two they had are no good either. Now they expect me to pay 80 more bucks for a compressor they are buying from some where else. They also refuse to refund the money for the compressor. They expect my customer to just wait on them to source another one from god knows where or how long. This is not how you do business.
Poor customer service. I asked about a part Saturday over the phone . Then I was told to call or come by Monday. He then told me again he didn't have time to go and get the part. He also stated he can't sell me the 1 part I need . I would need to by the other part as well. Then my car won't be any good . SMH (this is a junkyard for parts )He then proceed to say he has been to busy he can't go get the part he has had a lot of customers. In so many words he did not want to sell me the part.
Do not buy any parts from these people! They know they have bad parts they just take your money. Be aware. First of all, I provided y'all with all receipts. You ask for transmission fluid receipts. The transmission was bad point blank so what does fluid receipts have to do with a bad transmission that never worked? Y'all are very unprofessional I will be getting a lawyer. Never in my profession have I had a problem with parts. I buy from lkQ & knox auto parts and many more. Y'all are known for taking customers' money. Y'all knew the transmission was bad.
It a great place to get the parts you need. If they don't have what you need they go above an beyond to find what you need . Very friendly staff. I have been there several times and they have always gave me a list of car an number that I was looking for very easy to find them. Will be going back there when I need a part. I needed a spare wheel for my 1998 Ford Ranger and in NE Alabama salvage yards are very scarce, and the ones I did find did not have the wheel I needed, which is hard to believe since there are millions of Ford Rangers that have been made.
I found M&D via Google, and I called and the folks there were very helpful and friendly. I gave him the OEM PN I was looking for then I texted a pic of one of the wheels on my truck so he could assure what he was looking for. In a matter of minutes he had located an exact match and texted me a pic to confirm.
Although it was about an hour drive from my house to M&D, it was very worth it. The price he gave was reasonable, and I will definitely be a returning customer in the future.

Which I don't mind( I enjoy yards). But it's convenient, Pricing is decent .. OVERALL GOOD YARD...
Why answer the phone and then act like they can't hear you, just to hang up. Why even answer oops I forgot they don't . The good reviews must be friends and family. That's definitely a sign to take my business elsewhere!
This BIaTch hung up in my face because she do not want to get her lazy behind and go look for the parts that I was asking about. The attitude that she used to answer any question would tell you that she's not even trying to check. Horrible people to have in people's business
They have fair prices, the staff is very nice and helpful
