My wife and I were driving from Huntsville to Vicksburg, via Natchez Trace Pkwy, about 10 minutes down the road, when the car’s alternator failed and all the power went out. We were in the middle of nowhere and I’m in a wheelchair and without my wheelchair van, I’m stuck. Stranded. We got an OK from insurance and Cherokee Truck & Trailer to have the van brought there and they’d look at.
They diagnosed the problem quickly and called for a new alternator to be delivered. A modern minivan takes a long time just to remove and replace anything like an alternator but it was pretty much done in three and a half hours. Then the new battery had to be replaced because the alternator failure drained it to ruin.
Altogether, from scratch to driving the van away, it took about five hours. The price was very reasonable too.
Can’t say enough about these guys. Being in a wheelchair, you’re often left to the mercy of others when you’re in an emergency situation. The guys at Delta came through but it wasn’t mercy for them. I can say for sure it was just their normal integrity.
They replaced my transmission in my altima in 2 weeks!! Super friendly staff and they was also very affordable! I came back for tires and they gave me a great price!

This is the second time in the last few months Cherokee Truck & Trailer Repair has come to my rescue , first time with a flat and then second time, a dead battery . Got me back on the road in no time . It’s nice to have someone local I can count on.
Dude sold my kids a bad used tire. 51.00 next day gets a knot and goes flat , tells them bring it back , the boy works at NG goes in before the guy opens doesn’t get off u til 7p . I call ask if he’s possibly open on Sunday afternoon. He dates no and I asked him how he checks tire bc when one gets. A knot on the side it’s been curbed or hit a pot hole. He then gets cute with me bc I’m smart enough to know. Tells me I have an attitude. Lame lame takes advantage of kids who don’t know bad business.
I had a tire blow outside of Iuka without a spare and was very concerned about the cost of towing and tire. Cherokee was very reasonable had great customer service. Highly recommended.

Great Service! My Motorhome was overheating and they dispatched Logan out to the side of the road to take a look. With the replacement of a heater hose and antifreeze I was on my way. Logan even followed me down the road about 3 miles so it would heat up to ensure it had enough antifreeze. Very Thank Full for their service. Will use again and recommend to others. Thank You!

Truck drivers, consider other options in the area if any. Several negative reports over a few trucking websites about this place. Mostly related misleading service practices and price manipulations.
I'm a pastor! I was traveling from Corinth MS, where I preach. I caught a flat tire coming into Cherokee on 72 late at night. My jack broke and my spare was damaged. One of their workers driving past noticed something wasn't quite right, and called another repairman who came with the repair truck. They fixed my spare tire and put it on for me. About an hour's labor. I asked what it will cost. They kindly responded that there would be no charge and were glad to help. Really good people!
All I can say is "Simply The Best". Logan and his crew are wonderful. Great prices, great customer service. Been coming here for the 3 years that I have lived in Alabama.
