Called Mims and there were hooking me up within 15 minutes. I had a 40' gooseneck trailer that also needed to be moved off the fwy. They arrived with th wrecker with a dually to tow my trailer. They got me over to Southern Dixie Auto, and stored my trailer at their yard while my truck was getting fixed. Damn good people. 6 stars.
5 stars not enough we need atleast 15! Adam went above and beyond to get our family back on the road. Sunday afternoon in the hottest part of the day! We need more people like Adam. We could have been stranded who knows how long. Because of Adam, we were back on the road in 2 hours. Thank you ADAM!!
Great wrecker service that works with you to find a good solution. I needed to move a 20' container and some jobsite materials up to Kentucky and they were up for the challenge and helped find a solution that fit our scope. I highly recommend if you need a wrecker in the are to call Mims!
Alternator on wife's vehicle failed while driving on the interstate on a stormy Sunday afternoon (an inconvenient time, for sure) and Mims made themselves available to replace it almost immediately for a very reasonable price. We were in quite a bind, and they got us back up on our feet, so to speak.
I'm very grateful for their professionalism and quickness in solving our issue. It's very comforting to know there are people like them that will be there for you if you ever find yourself in a tough situation. I strongly recommend giving them a call if you are ever in need of any of the services they offer.

Very impressive, that Scott and his wife answer calls personally, even at 10PM! He helped me try to get my RV going, and referred me to JP Mobile Diesel Repair when it was dead in the water and unmovable. He's extremely knowledgeable, competent, and professional; very courteous, honest, and helpful. Mims is now my go-to towing and shop repair service in the area! I definitely recommend them to family, friends, and everyone!
I recently needed the services of Mims Wrecker Service to help me correct a problem I created myself. Pulling a loaded gooseneck trailer I turned a little too sharply into my drive and the loaded gooseneck trailer tilted over into the wet ditch crushing the side of my truck bed. They came out as soon as I called and lifted the loaded trailer back in my drive without creating more damage to my truck or trailer. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services. The truck he brought out was top-notch and one of the strongest trucks I’ve ever seen in person. The turn style type wrecker was exactly what I needed for my problem!
Certainly helped me out when I was in a bind! Younger guy complained to much, if anyone had a right to whine and complain it would've been me, but older guy helped out no problem had my truck hooked in 10 mins. Great company and will go above and beyond to help you out.
Scott at Mim’s is awesome. We live in Owens Cross Roads and our boat trailer blew a hub on the way home. Scott and the crew rescued my boat, on its trailer with one wheel, from the Love’s truck stop. Can’t recommend them more! I had no idea how we going to fix that situation but Scott just handled business!

My 5 year old daughter and I broke down on the side of the interstate. They were the 4th company I talked to and they were incredibly nice and showed up within 30 minutes. They also recommended a great repair shop. I’d highly recommend this company.
Two days before Christmas I was stranded on the side of the road with my daughter for 6 hours. Wrecker driver, Kodee came and picked us up. I was totally stressed out and feeling unsure about what to do. Kodee was totally professional and his customer service was impeccable. He brought me, my daughter and our car home safely. Great bunch of guys fast tow and let us stay in their yard hooked to power. They fixed our truck and not having to go to freightliner and wait 2-3 days. Fully recommend this company.

Great service! I hit something sharp in the road and blew a tire just as I was arriving at work. It took all of two mins to schedule a tow from Mims. The driver arrived promptly and was friendly.
He also had the presence of mind to confirm with the tire shop that they had the tire I needed before he drove away. When they didn't, he towed me to another nearby shop that had what I needed. Payment was easy and fairly reasonable. All in all, what you want from a tow service. Thanks guys!

Nice people, prompt service and a pretty decent experience originally. However scott over charged me 10 miles, stripped out the bolts in my driveline yoke and never even offered a discount or help getting it fixed. A new yoke cost $350 and the extra ten miles was $70..

The transmission in my vehicle failed on my way to Montgomery from Birmingham on Christmas Eve day. I had my entire family with me, so we were stuck without many options for help heading into a long holiday weekend.
Although they were closing early for the day, the Mim’s staff made sure my vehicle was secure and that we had a plan and schedule for pick up. They towed my truck to my technician in Birmingham the following Monday and emailed a receipt.
They answered each of my calls and texts and followed up to make sure I had everything I needed throughout the process.

Our company bought a shipping container at auction from a local correctional facility. Derek and the other wrecker driver ( I didn't catch his name) both showed before time and ready to do what we needed and in the rain. After dealing with all it takes to get into a prison, we managed to get everything loaded on to one of our trailers, strapped down, and back out of the gates within 45 minutes. Very impressed with their work! Good people! Would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again!
After hours of getting the runaround with AAA, I finally gave up and called Mims. Scott was there in no time. He was very friendly and professional. My daughter and I were alone traveling back to Tennessee from Florida. He made sure that he took us to a safe hotel since we weren’t familiar with the area. He picked us up the next day from the hotel after another frustrating morning of phone calls with AAA (I canceled my membership after this). I recommend Mims to anyone looking for prompt, professional towing services. They are amazing!!

After over 30 hours broke down in the entrance ramp of a rest area on the phone with AAA who couldn't find a tow for our RV. I called Mims and they picked us up and towed us almost an hour away to Motgomery AL to a repair shop. Scott was talking to me through text and calls trying to help us troubleshoot our problem while trying to help us find a mobile repair shop to possibly get us fixed and on a Sunday no less. The over all help and support we got from Mims was amazing and well beyond what they had to do. If I ever break down in AL agian they they are going to be my first call. Their service was more then 10 stars worth. If there was a way to give them a better review I would do it. Thank goodness Mims exists or we might still be sitting in that entrance ramp.
They were amazing, they came to our rescue when we broke down and helped us beyond our relief. Helped us with a new battery and more. We were stuck at our halfway point and offered to bring us back to TN or destination MS. But they fixed our truck and MS we went. If im ever around this area again with traveling and having problems i know who to call, Derrick was terrific. I highly recommend them!
MUST READ REVIEW! Would it be an exaggeration to say Mims Wrecker Service saved our lives? My husband and I think it's an accurate statement. Stranded on I-65 on a Sunday in over 90 degree heat with nearly dead phones, we waited nearly 3 hours because our insurance company (who we already paid to tow us over 100 miles) assured us that help was on the way. It wasn't. With vehicles whizzing past so closely that our car would rock and the battery so dead that the hazard lights stopped flashing, we decided to google tow trucks near us and Mims popped up with a 5-star rating and very close. Even though it was Sunday, the owner, Scott, answered our prayers and arrived in less than 15 minutes to haul us somewhere safe. One of his drivers volunteered to work on Sunday to tow us home. Thank you, Derrick. I should also mention that Mims price was $120 cheaper than what the insurance company charged. We HIGHLY recommend Mims Wrecker Service! Very Professional! Very Courteous! Possibly saved our lives and definitely saved our wallets!
Great service with a smile at 11:00 pm on Easter Sunday. We evidently drove over a nail just outside of Montgomery, AL. After a harrowing experience of husbands changing tire on side of interstate we drove on donut to Loves truck stop in Clanton, AL. Since we were in a car they would not even look at the tire. Called Mims wrecker service from Loves parking lot. Derrick came to us, tried to patch the tire with no luck, gave us directions to shop 3 miles away, AND then put a new tire on the car so we could continue our drive home.
