Teague Towing was great to work with! My car broke down, and they arrived quickly and delivered it to the mechanic in a timely manner. Communication was great, and it was a great overall experience!
We had an extremely disappointing experience with Teague Towing in Lanett, AL. As a fleet manager, I regularly arrange towing services through TruckDown, but this time a police officer insisted on using their preferred local towing service, which turned out to be Teague Towing.
Our truck was only 7 miles from the towing yard, on the shoulder, with all axles and wheels functioning properly. Despite this, Teague Towing charged an outrageous $3400 for the service. This is an astronomical amount for such a short and straightforward tow.
To make matters worse, when we sent our truck with a hook to bring it back to our yard, Teague Towing placed the bobtail in the dock area against the wall and blocked it with a gate. They then demanded an additional $350 to pull it up so our driver could hook it up.
The lack of transparency, exorbitant pricing, and additional unnecessary charges left a very bad impression. I would strongly advise against using Teague Towing and will be sure to avoid them in the future. This experience was frustrating and completely unacceptable.
Looking for quality towing services? Teague Towing services is where it's at. They have reliable trucks and awesome workers. I have never had to wait more than 45 minutes to an hour. Prices are reasonable and they are very helpful!! Thanks Teague Towing for showing up for me!!
Teague used a service called RoadSync for billing. RoadSynch charged $20 more than agreed upon price. I had to call Teague Towing directly and tell them I would not pay the extra $20. The folks at Teague said I could mail them the amount. Thanks for that! PLEASE DISCONTINUE YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH ROADSYNC. They are liars.
I've used them the last few times I've needed a tow. They always call back if you can't get through the first time. The wait usually isn't long at all. This last time they got here in about 5 minutes and got the job done pretty quickly ...while it was raining.
I didn't use this service. I called around to get pricing for towing my car a half mile to my home, and this place along with one other quoted me a $75 charge. I told them, "No thanks," and hung up the phone. Maybe it's just standard pricing, but $75 to move a car a few blocks down the road seems absurd to me, especially since I managed to get it home for free by jumping it off using booster cables (the alternator had gone out, and the car stalled when the battery died, so all it needed was enough juice to get home). I was expecting $35-$40, but $75...? Really?
Claims 24 hour service, while stranded on the side of the road with 2 flat tires in the middle of the evening I called repeatedly for assistance and left messages, no return phone call or help. Dont claim 24 hours if you cant render 24 hour assistance.
These guys are awesome. 5 star service. I was moving my truck with a trailer with my whole life in it as I moved from Pensacola fl to Columbia sc. then all of a sudden my oil drain plug came undone inbetween auburn and Atlanta. Oil and smoke everywhere! I called in and they arrived within 30mins as they were located a little away. I dealt with Ben specifically and he was genuine, easy to talk with and very intelligent. He knew exactly where to go to get me a new drain plug. Not only that but he didn't leave until he actually crawled up underneath my truck to correctly install the drain plug and ensured I was good to go as I didn't have a jack to place my heavy trailer back on my truck. I definitely recommend these folks. Good people great service.
