Called these guys to help us out in a pinch. My wife was stuck on the side of the road and we needed a tow. 20 mins later they called up and said they were able to get her car going so she could drive a the car home. They had no need to even tow the car. I tried to offer payment but they refused, saying it was a small task and they were nearby anyway and they were just happy to help out. Thank you guys so much this was a bigger help than you realize.
Waste of time. Can't be bothered to check and see if parts were available to be sold. I admit it was a test to see if the yard was up to standards. If they could have done the small task of looking for the module. I was willing to spend a ton of money on this project. I buy a lot of parts from all over this nation and world. The interaction with this yard was memorable and not for good reasons. There is a reason you fine folks have the rating and reputation you have.
I had a great experience with this company. I needed a used auto part. Called them first thing in the morning and they confirmed that had it in stock. When I arrived at lunchtime the part was already pulled and waiting for me. They have a large selection of used parts. Great service!
This place is absolutely awful 😔 I'd rather go without a part to fix my car then come here. At least you ought to try to be a salvage store , because it looks like it's absolutely everything else but that..
These people have a contract with the police to tow your car after an accident with your permission. They screw you over and price gauge you. They shouldn’t be in business. They prey on the less fortunate.
$900 to tow my Honda minivan and 400 pound 4 by 6 utility trailer maybe 5 miles. We were in an accident and the cops called Fagan. I feel like I got robbed for $400 to maybe $500 compared to if I had called another tow company. The van was on it's side but come on - you guys were there and gone in maybe just over an hour. I have a complaint into the Alabama Public Services and I will update with what they say. I have never owned a towing company and don't know what the overhead is - I do know I can call a local company where I live and get a car towed across town for about $100 bucks. I will say the customer service was the absolute best at Fagan's. They tarped my trailer and helped me get my stuff out and get the van onto my tow dolly. Excellent response from everyone I called. I did request a price reduction from the owner. He let me know through his wonderful employees my price was half what he would have charged the insurance company (things that make you go Hmmm) and that he was not going to budge on the price. I currently view Cherokee County Alabama as a place where a highway robber lives. Call back to Georgia if you need a tow - it's going to save you some big bucks.
My dad worked on old cars for years and never used Fagans because they were rude and couldn't care less. I've tried twice to give them a shot, and each of those two times I've called I've gotten no friendly service. Yep, still couldn't care less about being helpful and selling me a part. Shoulda trusted dad, even after all these years.
While they did have the part I needed, the experience was miserable. The initial phone call should have been enough of a clue - this guy does not care if he gets your business or not. Rude, crass, gruff, inhospitable, and unfriendly are applicable words.
I went there today to get a part and was told that it would be about 30 - 40 minutes because the guy was at lunch. I went to a antique shop to waste time and then came back an hour later. When I got there, another customer was already up at the counter and then I went to ask the guy about the part I needed. He told me that the guy would come up to look for the part as soon as he helped the customer that was ahead of me. At no point did he radio to the other guy or communicate anything to the other guy to let him know that another customer was wanting a part. I inquired about several other parts while waiting and the guy at the counter acted like he wanted to anything besides helping me, even walking away with no words spoken at one point. Another customer came in with a starter that he has purchased there and said he forgot a wire for it, and he was told to go back and get the wire off himself. When I inquired if they let customers get their own parts off, I was told no! I wasted an hour and a half of my time dealing with these guys. I would not go back there to do business with them. It was obvious that they didn't want my business.
Probably Best Inventory of (Salvaged) Parts Around. Good place to find discontinued Parts for Vehicles. I bought a Seat for my Vehicle there. No one had one. Not Ebay, no one. Not even a Part #. Use their Website to Search for Your Vehicle and Part you need. Make sure to check Grade. "A" is good condition (like school) and so forth. Then Call them. They can "Pull" the Part (take it off the Vehicle) & have it ready for you. Take Cash. It will save you a Debit/Credit Card Fee. Good guys to work with.
Have tried to buy several different parts at different times these people are rude very unprofessional I was shocked. I thought small town down home nice people WRONG COMPLETELY RUDE NOT HELPFUL TALK TO YOU LIKE YOU ARE ASKING TO BE GIVEN A PART OR SOMTHING STAT AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I TRIED 2 AFTER THE 2 TIME I SAID NO MORE!!!!!!
Highly recommend if they don’t have what you need they will be sure to find it for you!! They stay busy but make time to get what you need! Iv never had to have a tow but Iv heard how great they are! I looked for a driveshaft for a week every one I found was bent or no one had it in the state of ga or al. But Edward and Charlie were sure to find me one that would work!! Prices are also great to! Give them a call, you want be disappointed!
My truck broke down near the Piedmont high school. Called Fagans and they came within 10 min of my calling them (of course I had been near them) and he got the truck on the tow truck and took me back to my house in Weaver. I’m just gonna say this, this guy was extremely nice and helped me out a lot, wasn’t expecting the price but I’m not used to using a tow truck service so it could’ve been for mileage I’m not sure. I rate them 5 stars because they really helped me and was very considerate for my two year old daughter. We sat in the air conditioning because he was more worried about her than anything else. Thank you guys so much!
bad experience with this junk yard they lied to me about a transmission being tested good with low mileage, but turn out to be bad and they refused to do anything to work something out with me. be careful buying parts from these guys specially expensive parts like engines or transmissions i lost $1800 dealing with these scammers.
They got to us very fast and pulled our truck out of the ditch with absolutely no problem and kept us from having any damage to it with their expertise. I would definitely use them again.
Called and call was taken quickly and patiently my questions were answered promptly when asked if they had what I needed. I drove over 50 miles and picked up what I needed at price quoted.
Great place to buy all your auto parts. If its not already off these guys will go pull your part. No haggle pricing so if you dont want to pay there price leave the part there. There is never any guessing because everyone there is 100% real.
What do you expect from a salvage yard. These guys know their stuff. I actually found them to be friendly, but I'm sure most people find it easier to be friendly to a country girl. Fagan's has lots of vehicles, and odds are they have your part at a good price. I thought about giving only four stars for the lack of a decent waiting area, but I didn't really care. In the end, a salvage yard is about getting a decent part for not nearly as much money as a new part, and the waiting area had a sweet cat to pet.
Drove 91 miles to get a pair of doors after TWICE confirming that they were Silver and not Grey. Got there and we couldn't find the car. After walking around for an hour we found a grey car. The owner needs to fire the manager for incompetence. Very lethargic and unhelpful manager who has no idea what they have and no care to assist and Truly confirm items. Don't shop here! Go to Myers in Hiram, Ga. Very good place.
I bought a motor for a Volvo XC90 from them. The motor ended up having a bad knock in it when we finally got around to installing it. It was way past the the 30 day warranty listed on the sales receipt. I asked them to swap this one out for another good one. They DID no bullsht no nothing just brought it out and I want to thank them.

Very good service and price. I needed a front end nose and they had it. Edward Jr. sent me some pictures of it. It looked good. Said I wanted it. They got it ready on time when I needed it. Drove up from south eastern Louisiana, the part was just as described, and in good shape. They loaded it up and we were on our way back in less than an hour. I would recommend them. Thanks Edward Jr.
I have tried several times to buy from these people and there a bunch of jerks! and definitely the big nose smart ass at the counter.. ever since the nice older lady left they have really went down hill... will never buy from them or try again and would love to see them go under...
These guys are a joke. I have call several times over the past couple of years, looking for parts they listed on-line. Before they even determine exactly which part I need, they tell me "It's broke". Once or twice I could believe, but not every time. Why would they inventory bad parts? How do they even know the part is bad before I tell them the specifications of what I'm looking for? Idiots. I believe any positive reviews are probably written by the halfwits working there.
Called about a part and was given the information I needed, called back a few hours later to ask a few more questions and was told the part I needed was no good, the car had been underwater. When I asked why was I told earlier a price, $1100, on a part that was no good the guy got smart with me. He said he was the person I talked to. My question is why would you have parts entered in your computer system that are no good? Seems like a waste of time to me. I told him no wonder he had a bad Google rating.
Today i bought me a car door, Fagans was 100$ cheaper then anywhere in anniston. i had a great experience there, they sell low mileage stuff, compared to other places selling high mileage, customer service was great i delt with the owner and had a great conversation.
