Stranded on top of Cheaha with a punctured tire, made 3-4 calls before finding someone willing to fetch me and tow me to Oxford. For that I am grateful , friendly and personable guy.
Called and got a quote, arrived quickly and was able to have our vehicle towed back home from Oxford Exchange to Wedowee. Vehicle was delivered exactly where we asked and nicely parked under our carport. Will definitely use Owens next time we need a tow and highly recommend to everyone!
Chris and Mary saved our weekend! Our truck broke down while we were towing a boat on a Friday evening (and a holiday weekend no less). We were 50+ miles from home and they helped us. Both were helpful and friendly. Thank you, thank you!

If you owe or work for a company or business they will require you to wait 24 hours even in a fire zone to tow off anything.
Not good business practice
Was sorry to do it, but was able to wake someone up before 5am and they were out to my vehicle within an hour! Extremely nice and respectful to me and my poor car! Decent price and the amount quoted on the phone, was the amount they requested after the tow even though it was a pain to get backed up into my driveway to drop the car!! I’d give them more stars if I could! Will be calling them again without a doubt! Thanks again guys!!
The new gentleman working with Owen's Towing was extremely prompt. He was at my location within what seemed like five minutes after I called, literally. I was prepared for a long wait but that was not the case. I greatly appreciate his service. I will definitely use Owen's again for my future towing needs.
We've used them 3 times and have never had a problem. This last time was for an accident and they still had the vehicle when we showed up after hours to get some things. They arrived in about 10 minutes and let us in so we could take care of business. Couldn't be nicer. Definitely use them in the future!
Owens is awesome! We had just bought a small camper and it broke down on the way home so we had to leave it on the side of the interstate. Thankfully i found Owens after calling several places to help. He came to help and got us to a shop. Our camper is very small which was helpful too. Super thankful!
Only gave them stars cause I dunno what the costumer service or towing service is like. I'm not from around here and needed my car towed so I looked up tow company's. This was the closest to me and they have decent reviews. The web site says 24 hours but no one answered the phone. So I guess it try again somewhere else.
Called for a tow truck, said they’d be here in about an hour and a half. Called them back three hours later to see where they were and they said they never picked up the car because of their own car troubles. I understand things happen but someone could have called to let me know they weren’t coming. Ended up having to extend my stay in Alabama and take an extra day off work since no other company could help me so late in the day.
On Dec 13 2018 at 12:40pm I placed a called to Owens towing we needed assistance with a fifth wheel wheel and F350 stuck in wet soil and blocking a road. The gentleman assured me he would get someone dispatched, he was finishing up on another job but would be on the way in about an hour. Meanwhile the SO came to handle traffic. We assured them the wrecker was coming asap. At 1:20 pm a text from Owens "My guy is on the way". 2:25 p.m still no wrecker. Directions were 431N past J & M Midway first left can't miss us because you can't pass us. 2:32 pm I call he then informs me his driver is lost. My question how does a wrecker driver get lost? It's 2018, we have a uniquely high tech modern invention that you would think a wrecker service would utilize, and readily available on most phones....GPS. And why wouldn't you call and say hey my guy is lost and can't find you call someone else. The kind gentleman from the sheriff's department got Matthews dispatched they were there in 5 minutes, 5 minutes later we were out and on the road again. Sorry but I would have to give Owens Zero stars if I could, really bad experience.
Good service for overnight when nobody is open and long distance, recommend for transport and towing , good rates and a 30 min eta . From lockouts to recovery’s give Owen a call . They also have a repair shop if you’re broken down on the interstate they will tow and fix your car at a low rate best prices and get you heading back home in no time .
Don’t get me wrong they are really good and great people. Had my car towed from a wreck went to go get it and they had lost the keys to my car! They was no where to be found so not only did I have to pay to get my car out of their lot but now I have to pay to get a new key since they lost it!
Wanted a tow. Charged more than anybody in town. They showed up and did not need them and charged me 45$ cash. Could have been nice and given me a break but choose to charge me 45$ when they did NOTHING! Next time I will use the guy that was only gonna charge me 65$ to tow inst d if these guys for 95$. Thanks from for NOTHING! Bad business!!!!!
Well even though they have my car, they have been kind and curtious. They have worked with me the best way they can. I'm thankful for that. Not the fact I had my car towed/impounded.

I was stranded on the highway in anniston on a holiday weekend and Owens Towing and Recovery was a blessing to me helping me get back to Birmingham and they were the only Towing Service that helped me and they're honest and reasonable in their prices please check them out you want regret it
