My husband and I needed our car towed and through our insurance we did so they sent us auto medic wrecker and towing.
We were informed that the driver would arrive in approximately 30 minutes, so my husband and I briefly stepped into a nearby store that was only a few steps away from where our vehicle was parked. We were inside for about 6 minutes. When we returned, we observed the driver sitting in the front seat of our vehicle using my personal iPad. As we approached, we clearly saw him clicking and navigating on the device.
When questioned, he initially stated that he was “well I waiting for yall,” and later admitted that he had been looking at the iPad to see the model and acknowledged that what he did was wrong. At no point did he have permission to access or handle my personal device. This iPad contains private and personal information, and his actions were a serious invasion of privacy and highly unprofessional.
I contacted there office to file a complaint and requested the driver’s name, which I was given as Christian Martin. I was informed that a supervisor would contact me; however, instead of a supervisor, the driver himself called me directly, Asking “how he can resolve the situation” which made the situation even more uncomfortable.
I contacted your office again today to follow up and asked to speak with a supervisor who had been expected to call me. I had to explain the situation once more. During this call, the representative asked me what I wanted to be done about the situation instead of acknowledging the seriousness of my concern or offering an apology. This response felt dismissive and unprofessional.
A supervisor returned my call a few hours later and stated that he would speak to the driver. However, I was then told that I “did not have to worry about any money missing” because the driver has a good credit score and earns a certain amount of money annually. This response was irrelevant to my complaint. The issue is that the driver picked up my personal iPad, unlocked it, and scrolled through it without my permission while I was present.
The driver’s financial status or credit score has absolutely nothing to do with the violation of my privacy. Being told this made me feel that my complaint was minimized and not taken seriously. I am deeply uncomfortable with the fact that my personal device was accessed without consent, and the lack of accountability and empathy from your staff has only added to my frustration.
I believe my privacy was disrespected, and I expected a more professional and appropriate response when reporting such a concern. Instead, I feel that the situation was brushed off rather than properly addressed.
I used my roadside assistance insurance for our tire change service. The service itself was quick. The driver that responded was polite and efficient. I originally missed the call from the office (my phone went to voice mail). When I called back the dispatcher seemed aggravated. It was her tone that threw her off. Until I asked if a certain employee was responding (he was family), once I mentioned him being family her tone completely changed. I would recommend Auto Medic. The dispatcher seemed to be having an "off" day.
I had an amazing experience, my 2024 Jeep gladiator was totaled not only was the driver who picked my vehicle up very nice Kaitlyn, who worked in the office went up above and beyond. They even brought me my tag, thank you for everything y’all did.
Excellent service. Jonathan, the delivery driver, was brilliant! Knowledgeable, respectful, courteous, friendly, and professional. Altogether, a great experience. I highly recommend.
Called AAA for battery replacement. Tach showed up rather promptly but did not have correct battery. Scheduled return early next morning. Arrived early and installed correct battery. Very good job. Highly recommended!
Total idiots. Put diesel in my car after I told then it needs premium, then nobody but dispatcher would speak with me, and she claimed theyre not responsible. I have to file an insurance claim and then sue for my deductible . To make it worse, they didn't even show up to tow it afterwards. (Geico sent them again, or tried to)Not even a text saying they were running late, just no show. Awful company, poor service and a bunch of lying idiots.
I would give 0 stars if I could. My car was impounded Thursday night Thanksgiving. I called the office Friday morning and they were closed until Monday. This company charged me for the 3 days they were closed. They also would only take cash and not a credit card. They know that's hard to come up with and they want to make it hard to get my payment so they can charge more. Just some of that good old southern hospitality. All tow companies that impound vehicles should have to take whatever form of payment you have available. I understand the car being towed is my problem but I should be legally allowed to fix the problem with whatever payment method I have available to me.
The owner is incredible! He took such great care of me and my family after our car was hit/wrecked in Loxley while on vacation. I can’t thank him enough! Fast, friendly, kind, and professional! He safely got us off the interstate and gave us so much helpful information! We were driving from Louisiana to Florida and he made sure my car got back to Louisiana quickly! Don’t hesitate to use these guys, they’re awesome!
We were on I-10 when my grandma-in laws, car broke down. We called another towing company but they were rude and said they couldn’t get to us until 2 or 3 hours later. So we decided to call Auto Medic, they were so easy to talk to and so informative. Our driver was Larry and he was so nice and respectful, 10/10 tow truck driver. We were comfortable and were taken home safely! After we called we only waited maybe 30 minutes. We felt like a main priority. We will be using them again if we need too! THANK YOU AUTO MEDIC!!! :)
I wish I could give 0 stars!! Was told upon an AAA call BY MICHELLE that they wouldn’t bring me to my drop off location due to a personal issue they had with the mechanic. HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!! AAA is all about the SAFETY of customers, and this tow company IS NOT!! they care more about personal issues than making sure that customers are safe!!! i PAY MONEY for a service from AAA, if you are not going to bring ANYONE ANYWHERE then you DONT NEED A SUB CONTRACT WITH A ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE COMPANY. This has been reported to AAA and will be investigated as it is severely against their policy!!! Very interesting how they have responded to comments that have been made after my review, but not to mine!!!! I’ve opened an investigation with AAA to hopefully get these people OFF OF THE AAA LIST. TRASH COMPANY!
John came and picked up my Corvette today from Fairhope. The most Professional towing service I've ever used!. I am happy to give them 5 stars and would give them 10 if I could. I'd already had another company that was 3.5 hours late, damaged my vehicle then told me they didn't feel comfortable towing it. Left it 8 parking spaces down the isle, turned the opposite way. Auto Medic came and handled my baby with kid gloves. Used straps instead of chains. Used blocks so the front end never touched the tow truck. I am so impressed with their service! There's "wreckers" and there's towing companies. I'll NEVER use anyone else!

Battery dead in a parking lot miles from home. Request for help was answered by Auto Medic and assistance came in about a half hour. Service technician checked my battery and connections and confirmed that battery was discharged. He put a jumper box on my car and it started. He provided advice on replacing battery which was still within warranty and warned me not to turn the car off. Friendly tech in sharp work uniform and his vehicle was clean and well organized. Very professional and confidence inspiring. Excellent experience. Highly recommend Auto Medic.

Fast and respectful. Told them I don’t feel comfortable dragging my car on the tow truck because it was dead and he went out his way to hook up a jump back to drive my car on the flat bed. 10/10
If I could give a -5 I would! While they arrived in a timely manner the driver gouged the corner of the doorframe unlocking my truck and it is down to bare metal. I reached out to the office and I was told a manager would be calling…that was two weeks ago.
We had our car impounded and after dealing with a horrible afternoon with the police. We contacted Auto Medic to help release our car. Cas came to our aid, with no Uber in sight, she kindly offered to help us reach our financial aid to pay for the release of our car. Then helped with calming us down as we were a wreck emotionally and exhausted. Amazing amazing help from Cas and we wish her the best. This is an example of how a company has good people backing their name. Thank you Cas.
If you’re looking for the most professional Tow company in South Alabama it’s this outfit! From the dispatchers to the drivers, nothing but true Southern Hospitality as you should expect down here! These guys have your back and have the safety in mind of your family and your vehicle! I personally think they have the coolest trucks on the road! Every truck I’ve seen on the highway, always looks freshly detailed & mint and I see them almost everyday. Thank you again Auto Medic!!
As much as I hate having anything to have to be towed, I will certainly use auto medic again. Their customer service is and was exceptional. Very professional driver Derrick and super helpful with everything. I will have to recommend them in the future.
I crashed my expedition into a ditch, Lavon & Christian came to the rescue. They were able to pull out my vehicle with no additional damage. To my surprise my McDonald’s drink never even tilted to spill, that’s care & talent!!!!. My husband was even able to drive it home. We are so grateful and appreciative that EVERYTHING ended up OK. Zero stars if I could. The owner of this business is a con artist and a thief. One of his drivers hit my van and took off (it’s on my dash cam). He has avoided my insurance and from their knowledge he is not even insured. Of course in Alabama it’s the good ol boy system and no one is going anything to fix the situation. Lavon Parr, karma will find you if it hasn’t already. Over $3k in damages he’s avoiding.
This towing company came to the scene of my sons accident right away, even in the evening time of a holiday, & loaded quickly & carefully as well as took good care of the vehicle until it was ready to go to the body shop! We couldn’t even get Triple A out to us at this time, nor even a call back in response from Triple A! So, Very thankful for this company & do highly recommend!
